It was a tourist trap. It doesn't worth it.
Good traditional Swiss experience with entertainment. Would recommend.
Service was quite mediocre, though I guess our waiter was in bad mood. The menu was quite different (worse) than on their site. We asked for dairy free and had one option (according to waiter) and when the plate came it had dairy sauce there! As my mom is not allergic just doesn't like it, we didn't make fuss, it was ok food but, of course, it was very disappointing. Food is quite mediocre. Atmosphere is nice, nice entertainment. We won't be returning there but it wasn't a disaster.
Unfortunately the food was very disappointing and the promises of authentic food was shadowed by the lack of quality. Service was just ok, nothing extraordinary for the overpriced menu. Will probably not go back.
The service was a bit slow. But the food we love and ambiance was great. Overall experience was good.
The fork gave 2 times, 6 and 6:30. We booked 6.they were unaware of our booking. No one else in restaurant until 6:45. Food over priced and not very good.Supposed to be entertainment, 2 guys spending most of the time chatting with staff, half hearted at best. Left at 7:45 and only 15 people. Will not use “fork” as obviously only marginal times available.
Good food, reasonably priced. Great atmosphere with musician and traditional Swiss music. A good place for tourists that want to experience the Swiss folklore without leaving Geneva.
We had a guest first time visiting Geneva, so the target was to go to traditional Swiss restaurant. It was absolutely great time there. Decorations, live folk music, great service ... - entire atmosphere in combination with excellent food and company made us feel special. We will come back for sure!
Don't know why, but worse than before. Less music, pooer service.
Great restaurant for an authentic Swiss experience but it is expensive. Do go expecting nice food in a fun atmosphere. Don’t go expecting good value for money.
We had a fun evening — folk music, great Swiss fantasy decor, friendly staff and good food. The food was not great, honestly but it didn’t really matter. The atmosphere made up for any deficit in the food and some of it was very good, especially simple things like the amazing bread and boiled new potatoes. It was pricey but what restaurant in Switzerland isn’t? I’d recommend it to foreign visitors. Even though there is outdoor seating, eat inside. That’s where all the “Swiss” atmosphere is.
The food was fantastic, although there was a lot of it. Loved the bed and cheese fondue. The folk singers we're out of this world. Just wish it was a little cooler outside! Not a great night for fondu, but loved it anyway.
Our server just left us - once in awhile came back - no interest The restaurant insists each person purchases an entree, understandably, yet the menu was mostly fondue choices, fondue is very rich! Just maybe allow a couple to share a fondue to allow for them to enjoy the richness, then share something else like a salad to balance equity. Two different cheese fondues was way too much - and expensive to not eat!
The atmosphere and live music are truly the best aspects of this restaurant. Sampled the traditional Swiss fondue and the waiter modeled the correct twirling procedure to follow - this was helpful to reduce waste/spillage. The food was good but it didn't "Wow" me and for the cost I probably was expecting a little more flavor. In short, if you visit go for the entertainment and not the food. The traditional music made the evening enjoyable.
Kitchy, touristy but put that in the background. The food was authentic and superb. We came for the traditional fondue and were not disappointed. The staff helped us understand the selections. The wine was flavorful, soft and perfect for our dinner. At first we were taken back by th unexpected love music. It was an accordion player/singer accompanied by a musician who played everything from clarinet to long horn to the spoons. Th music was actually quite entertaining. We enjoyed our night out immensely.
The circumstance is very nice. It is very valuable to visit once especially for tourists.
Dommage que le personnel ne soit pas en tenue traditionnelle.
The atmosphere was great. If you are looking forward eating traditional Swiss food that’s the place to go. For that reason you need to be a fan of cheese and fried food !! Nice place to go once or twice for discovery and start a diet the following day.
Loved the traditional Swiss atmosphere, the fondue and the live music! Even sang edelweiss! We suggest getting a table with balcony window for best view of scenery and band like we had. Super memorable!
