This was some of the worst Italian food I have eaten in Rome. Ever. The Caio e Pepe was a glumpy, lumpy mess. And the Amatriciana was horrid - no guanciale, bits of mystery meat, a too tart tomato sauce, and worst of all, large peppercorns. I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. Stay away.
Edoardo is where you will get a feel of everything Rome is about: quality of its products, variety and creativity of its cooking, warmth and fun of its hospitality and the aesthetics of the place.
We had a lovely evening with good food, a nice waiter, in a lovely restaurant. Last night in Rome was just fun!
Terrific dinner. Rickie steals the show. He welcomed us and provided kind and helpful service throughout the evening. Nice quiet pretty street away from the maddening crowds Beautiful outside table graced by fresh pasta Caccia e pepe Fettuccine bolognese. (Superb) Veal with porcini mushrooms (ask for fresh lemons. (They make the dish pop) We did not want desert so we were provided with a bowl of hard dark chocolate bits and cambellini al vino. - a lovely hard biscottis with two glasses of vin santo. Great Roma dinner
Fantastic restaurant with exceptional service and food!
Perfect, anytime again, nice place and very good food,
Outstanding food, impeccable and warm service. A bit out of the way but worth the trip.
We were the only people in there as Rome were playing football. And football was put on the tv while we were there. But the staff we still very attentive.
The food and service were absolutely excellent. However the restaurant was empty apart from one other table. This of course meant that we had the undivided attention of our waiter, who was very welcoming and courteous. However, we did not get our 20% discount.
Great for tasting roman cuisine)
The staff and the owner were very hospitable and the food was delicious. We have been there over thirty yeas ago and it was as good as ever!
This seems like a place that probably does a good lunch service and struggles at dinner.. The food was okay, but other restaurants in the neighborhood are better at the same price. Service was inconsistent; one server was really thoughtful, the other kept disrupting our conversation. Overall, the experience was mixed and I probably wouldn't recommend this restaurant
Good food Empty restaurant Could not understand why Food and service excellent 30% discount after internet booking without any discussion For us perfect dinner
Nice place, decent food and good service. A bit overly priced.
All was decidedly great: traditional Italian cuisine, quality of products, genuine atmosphere, sense of service, ... and last but not least, owner Eduardo injecting lots of humor and fun in his conversations. Will certainly come back whenever coming to Italy!
