Very disappointing experience. Will never try again! It is hard to be constructive this time. We arrived (2 of us) ontime early, 3 tables, just 8 guests in the restaurant, We planned to have a 3 or 4 course tasting menu and ordered a bottle of wine and the same simple salad with a few squid as starters. These only ‘ok’ tasting salads arrived 20 minutes later but the understaffed kitchen and server then lost the plot as we waited 2 hours to have our very mediocre fish (cod and haddock) main courses served with no explaination and nothing special on our plates! Sadly this cafeteria level cooking reinforced our view that the recommendations we read were serious mistakes. Dead flowers in vases on the tables should have given a clue. Other guests looked quietly concerned as we all waited. Having been ignored when we asked if there had been a problem on the night the response was ‘no’. But did we ‘like our food?’, we were asked? ‘No, we really think ‘the chef could have done better particularly given it had taken a very long time’. We received 2 coffees with our bill for the trouble, having decided to skip any additional courses. It hurt to pay the total of our bill.

A chef who is passionate about fish and treats it with respect to bring out wonderful flavors. Slow paced and relaxed atmosphere, a true gem.

Small cosy fish restaurant. Reasonably priced and good portion sizes. Definitely will recommend this restaurant to family and friends!

Had the winter menu. Three of us had the set menu, which came with soup, turbot and creme burlee three course meal, and the fourth person had seabass which looked quite delicious. Good food, and good service! I would definitely go back again.

If you are a person who wants fresh fish prepared in ways that do not obliterate the natural flavor, this is THE place to come. Emphasis is on food that is well prepared and fresh beyond your dreams. Very fair pricing for the quality. Both fixed price menu and ala carte provide interesting options. Fish soup is not buried in cream to make up for flavor. The fish shines through and the tomato-flavored broth is divine. Ordered the sole and it was perfect. Side vegetables were garden fresh and cooked lightly to retain flavor. Finally a chef that is not afraid to let the ingredients be the star!

Very cozy restaurant and great selection of fish in the menu! Since everything is fresh and cooking may take a bit longer then in other places, it's also a good opportunity to sit and to talk enjoying a glass of wine :) . And the most important - compliments to the cook! Each of us ordered last time 3 courses and everything was super-delicious!!!
