4/10Was so excited to go to ekstedt at the yard but left thoroughly disappointed. Our fish had bones in that was passed off by the chef as unfortunate and hard to find. Then part of the duck course was missed and we were fobbed off again by the chef. The service staff apologised but the chefs seemed to think we didn't understand food. Then was given lots of additions rather than money off the bill. If the fish course and main course are incorrect then you apologise and offer a partial refund. The starters and deserts were amazing and our server was a delight shame about the rest

10/10Every sense was catered for. Unbelievable flavours and smells, beautifully presented and a very attentive team. The unique experience of getting to enter the kitchen and watch their stripped back way of cooking was extremely special. The sommelier gave great advice on a lovely wine to pair with the meal as a whole and it did not disappoint. Could not recommend more.

Inattentive service - had to keep asking for water to be topped up, table not tidied between courses, napkin not tidied when absent from table, inconsistent service staff for each course; ?resulting in patchwork service as not one person is responsible for a table/section?

10/10The restaurant is beautifully nestled in the heart of London. The staff is great. The service is attentive but not overbearing, with a level of professionalism and warmth that complements the high-quality dining. What stood out was the the unique fire base cooking, where every dish reflects a deep respect for both techniques and ingredients.

7/10The 2 main dishes (potatoes and duck) need improvement… it was sour, and cold… staff needs more training for the menu, also with a little more enthusiasms… feels like they need some more practice as for a Michelin restaurant. The oysters and the soufflé was really good. But the rest… need some work…

10/10Amazing meal. Good wine list with very reasonable pricing with many interesting bottles for around 55-65£. Only negative perhaps was that the 92£ menu was actually 115£.

7.5/10The restaurant's six-course tasting menu promised fresh, innovative dishes, and the food mostly delivered. The chef's creativity shone through, and we eagerly anticipated each bite. However, the service was lacking. We waited over an hour for the first course, and after prompting the staff, dishes flew out at a breakneck pace, with servers pushing aside previous courses for new ones. It was a culinary relay race. At one point, we had two wines on the table, as servers forgot we hadn't finished our previous pairing. The dessert wine pairing was a head-scratcher – the sweet dessert and wine just didn't match, and the wine arrived ten minutes after the dessert. The restaurant has potential, but the service needs work. Compared to others in its class, it falls short in overall experience. We left feeling like we'd been on a rollercoaster – highs from the delicious food, but lows from the inconsistent service. If they can improve their service, they could be a contender.

10/10It was a great experience, we were invited to the Chef's Table and then invited inside the kitchen to see how they would cook the oysters with wood fire. It was incredible experience while pairing with a champagne, wonderful Sauvignon Blanc, a bottle of Sangiovese, and a beautiful bottle of of Nebbiolo. we had for mains the duck cooked on the wood and the monkfish, it was a unique experience. The Chef and staff were superb!

10/10Right from the start the staff engaged with us, dealing with dietary requirements, questions about the food and wine and even how to pronounce the restaurant name, with knowledge and good humour - we were invited to see the signature dish being prepared in the kitchen and talk to the chef. The 6 course taste menu was fresh and innovative and my favourite course was duck with Jerusalem artichokes. The discount for booking through The Fork was generous. Recommended.
