I highly recommend it! I have never eaten such a delicious mole in Switzerland. It was a really nice surprise and I will be returning often to Zurich for more. And the service was amazing. Thank you.

Excellent, authentic food that you don’t get anywhere else in Zurich. The Ceviche and pork stew dishes were excellent. We had the flan to finish and it was delicious. Service is great too.

We loved our experience at El Alebrije. The food was really good and the service super friendly. The presentation of the dishes was done exceptionally. The atmosphere was really nice, I would definitely go back for a drink or a meal.

Very authentic Mexican cuisine, served in a nice and cosy ambience. The hosts are lovely and caring. The waiting time between the dishes was a bit too long, but that was due to staff shortage because of sickness

One of the best, if not THE best Mexican restaurant in Zurich. I‘ve been at least 6 times and every time its a unique experience for your tastebuds as well an excellent Ambiente. The chef makes wonderful dishes and with the right wine it will take you to heaven for a few hours!

Really good authentic Mexican food. The duck with Mole was outstanding. We were a bit unlucky as there was a huge group hence the waiting times were a bit long. The team was super friendly though.

This restaurant has dishes of very good quality and the crew is very friendly. However, there are too many time gaps between the order and the serving of the dish or beverage . For example: the wine has been brought only after my reclamation, and we were already finishing our main dish. This clearly shows that the service / kitchen cannot match the number of customers. Furthermore, the service should be better educated as to the meals and drinks served. Our service lady (otherwise very friendly) always had to ask somebody to answer our questions for the content of a meal or a drink. It’s pity, because this location is very cozy. Provided, one is willing to pay the high prizes of the food. Expensive restaurant, even for Zuerich conditions.

It was interesting to taste something other than taco's and co. But it was nothing spectacular - too expensive for what you get. the portions could have been bigger or at least they could have asked if we needed bit more rice (one little cup full for 3 people) or some more taco's.. the service was good, but when we finished the main dish it took them quite long until they came to ask if we need anything else.. if someone wants to try something new - go for it.

Authentic Mexican food, all hand made and in a chic ambiance. Not the informal type of place one is used to see when it comes to Mexican food. Love going there and their El Mimo cocktail is just the best!
