It was a quiet night after the New Years Eve and Three Kings so very few people there. The staff were most welcoming and the food was excellent. A quiet but very enjoyable experience and we will return.

A really enjoyable meal, everything was freshly cooked, served very hot and our starter, main course and desert were excellent. We both had the pilpil to start, the fillet steak and then our deserts were delightful too. Good portions and the white house wine was a good choice. Very nice service and live music that was a pleasant bonus. We consider this to be a superior restaurant without being over priced.

Having been to El Banco for many years and knowing that it had been sold on and seeing the amount of social media traffic, we knew we were in for a good lunch. Having arrived and having a nice round table we were presented with the menu’s and the manager was very friendly and helpful. BUT the restaurant just lacked the personal owner that used to be there. The walls were white bare and the ambiance was just bland and not existence. The food however was very fresh and delicious . Portions good and well presented. I will return to try an evening service and hope that the mood of the place improves. Currently 8/10 for food and service but 4/10 for mood and ambiance. Really cold, compared to previous experiences
