Attentive, helpful staff nicely presented tasty food surprisingly sensibly priced wine list for once restaurant a little over lit to be romantic
Stood at the bar and had amazing tapas. Great atmosphere and service
Very disappointing. The food was delicious but was not hot. - like our order had been cooked but not delivered to us. The waiter service was very poor throughout It wasn’t busy when we arrived and there were plenty of staff working but Boone helped to explain the menu or even to have an conversation with us. Very disappointed
Un lugar excepcional
Nunca te defrauda. La lubina con espinacas y jugo verde espectacular
Visited this restaurant after a recommendation and we were not disappointed. Spotlessly clean with friendly and courteous service. Ordered seafood meatballs and prawn pancakes as starters and then shared a red snapper. Superb, fresh and reasonably priced. Will definitely return when next in Cádiz!
Very typical fish restaurant you only have to be aware - mist of the fish you order, you ONLY get fish on your plate - nothing else ! the deserts are wonderful and the new bar looks very posh !
We went here after hearing really good reviews. Greeting on arrival was average, the restaurant was perfect, but the food was disappointing. Small portions lacking in imagination and flavour. We were disappointed, the restaurant promised so much, we enjoyed our evening but left feeling underwhelmed.
Se come bien.
Good, but not excellent seafood. I can say there are not much variety en menu. Vines list is perfect, many to choose from. Staff is pleasant
Nice drink in their modern tapas bar before dining then through to traditional restaurant. Food and wine excellent, good service. Wine very reasonably priced (12 euros per bottle for a nice Spanish white). Portion size good. Restaurant quite quiet but bar busy (Saturday evening early December). Rum & raisin ice cream with Pedro Ximenez was lovely !
This was supposed to be a highlight of our trip which we'd booked in advance . Great setting, but the waiter greeting us and serving us at first made us feel we were rather a nusiance. Another member of staff who was more pleasant took over during service but by then the moment was lost.
We were expecting so much from this restaurant based on its good reputation. The welcome was unfriendly and stuffy. Despite the restaurant being only 1/3 full, we waited for almost 30 minutes before we were offered a drink and then we had to prompt them. The food was mediocre. So disappointed. There are some wonderful places to eat in Cádiz. Unfortunately this is not one of them.
Really nice restaurant with pleasant and efficient staff. Food quality was very good but my main course was just a plate of fish..... I'd have liked a bit of salad or a few vegetables but there was not the option to order a side dish and nothing was offered.
I enjoyed my monkfish Mozarabic style though it was pretty chewy. However, I have not enjoyed being up most of the night being violently ill, especially as this is my last day on holiday and have to travel home today. As my husband and I shared the starter and dessert, I can blame only the fish.
Went for a birthday celebration whilst on holiday. The whole experience was fantastic. The food was delicious, the staff friendly and helpful but not instrusive. Three courses and wine were excellent value for the quality of food. Would definitely go again and would highly recommend.
Restaurant with top service, very good wine list and nice spanish focused food. Great atmosphare!
Fantastic restaurant. Bustling, great atmosphere and full of locals. Good menu choices and the fish was excellent. Service was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We booked a table in the main restaurant but there is also an option to stand up in the taps bar.
