A rare pearl among our careful selection of the best addresses right now
Excellent
The Food was pretty good and decent prices. We had a reservation for three but we came with 4 people and it wasn’t a problem at all.
Para volver
We are a family of six, who dined at El Gallo Canta today. We echo the previous reviews that found a warm welcome, excellent traditional cuisine, and a very good selection of Spanish wines. We wish that our stay in Madrid were longer so that we could make a return visit.
Tasty, traditional kitchen :)
Tortilla, croquetas y cachopo muy ricos
Local agradable con comida excepcional.
Una tortilla espectacular!.
El pisto manchego delicioso!!!
We crossed over from the Prado Museum to enjoy delights of typical spanish cuisine in a cozy atmosphere and friendly tip top service. Bravo!
Nice restaurant, very good value for money and typical dishes with high quality ingredients! Recommended!
Amazing.
Amables y rico
Volveremos!!!
We really liked that place and the attention from personal. The place is cozy and very nice. We ordered jamon like an appetizer and it was pretty good. Just one thing that my boyfriend ordered Ensalada Rusa and there was too much mayo in there and it was impossible to feel any flavor except mayo. But they changed the dish to another and never charged for salad. That’s great!
Muy bien todo
Lo mejor, la comida.
Very nice experience, just disappointed we could not get any tap water, so no way to drink for free (which is unusual in Madrid). The food was wery good, especially for its price with the 50% discount.
A real geme in the center of Madrid. Simple dishes with excellent ingredients, good wine, good service, nice atmosphere and a light bill.
Totalmente recomendable
