Simple menu works well in this cosy restaurant. Food was fresh and tasty: we loved the cerviche and pork. They do a good (but a bit pricey) pisco sour too. Service excellent. Difficult to fault

Unfortunately the meat was a bit dry. The prices are mid range/high. I will definitely go back and try it again.

Tasty Ecuadorian food. I would like to see more options in the menu or a tasting menu. Ecuador has amazing food and flavours. Some details can improve but definitely I would recommend the restaurant

We were very gracefully received and never felt rushed, even though it was a busy evening. We enjoyed our ceviches and the lamb dish was delicious, washed down with a couple of lovely piscos, of course!

Tucked away from the noise of the Angel/Islington bars and restaurants strip, this place was the best setting to meet with others and enjoy some interesting food while still being able to converse with friends. There were relatively few tables inside, which immediately looked auspicious, as there is often an inverse correlation between quality and crowdedness. Having read a few reviews complaining about portion sizes, i immediately proceeded to order everything on that menu, to the amazement of our polite waitress, who behind her smile must have thought we were just coming out of a jail, or otherwise been badly food deprived for months. There was therefore excessive food in the table, and we should have probably ordered just the excellent Ceviche "starters". The food tasted great, I can't comment on how Ecuadorian-geographically denominated it was (some reviewers were complaining about lack of authenticity), but to someone very familiar with Latin American food like me, it tasted great and comparable to some of the best from South America that i had before. Fairly priced for the quantity and quality. Most of what I ordered was great (the best being tuna Ceviche and the least liked was the plantain, whose truffle felt unnatural - and maybe not Latin American). The menu was suitably focused - always beware of restaurants that offer to many dishes, simply served and thankfully NOT accompanied by blasting loud music that a lot of similar places in London do (they should get extra points for giving us the opportunity to speak during the meal!). Almost everything worked as it should. One friendly recommendation if the owners or managers read this: although it was late in the evening, all soap containers in the bathroom were empty. The best places do take care of the little details, so they should aim to address the easy little things.

Hello PH. What a constructive feedback from your experience with us. It just makes us very happy but especially to keep up getting better & better. It feels amazing to know that people love and enjoy what we do. About the soap dispensers we already took action about it :) Thank you very much once again and we hope to see you again.

Popped in as we were shopping in the area. The service was friendly and genuine. Family run restaurant with local following. Food was tasty and we'll prepared. My first time trying Ecuadorian food and I enjoyed it very much. Would go again if in the area .

Really small space. Not accessible toilet for disabled people. Not very child friendly. Small and expensive portions. Flavoursome but not original either. Only few people from the staff speak Spanish even though is a restaurant from Ecuador.
