About the restaurant El Mornell

My hubby and I came with our toddler for a very late lunch (we were the last customer out) and they were so kind and accommodating. It's definitely quiet in El Palmar in January at 4pm. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun, but there is seating inside available. Main dinner area looked much more fancy than lunch. The bread plate with the garlic/olive oil paste was so delicious! I wanted to bottle it up and take some with me. Grilled prawns for appetizers were fresh and sweet -- perfectly cooked (you get 4 large juicy prawns). Our main course was the paella with scallops (and prawns & veggies). Phenomenal! Definitely worth the trip out to El Palmar. Highly recommend this place and would return in a heartbeat.

Very nice place to enjoy a real Valenciana paella. If you are looking for a real paella, this is your restaurant.
