10/10Sunday lunch. What an excellent find, my wife said. A slightly unusual location with an indoor restaurant bar one side of the one way quiet road and an outdoor covered seating area the other. You’d walk past it if you didn’t know. Off the tourist trail. We were the only non Spanish customers. Busy. We booked in advance. We had the parillada de pescados y mariscos which was outstanding. We also had an LTC salad, all between two which was plenty. Our waiter advised us that patatas bravas as well would be too much. He was right. The local speciality to drink appears to cider. Everyone was drinking it and the novelty was that the waiter served you a couple of mouthfuls poured from above his head at a cider pouring point and you needed to take it from his hand and drink some ir all straight away. We shared 3 bottles which lasted the meal. I think the pouring aerates the cider. Anyways it was delicious. We finished with arroz con leche to share which was perfect. All in all very highly recommended authentic Gijón cuisine.

10/10We’re a Local Family and frequent clients, The place is well organized, food taste is great, there is a menu of the Day or you are free to choose a different dish; that is where the price can be higher or lower it’s all about your budget. The owner is always around saying hello to the kids and pending if everything is ok with the service, something to really worthy. My favorite drink is Cider Sangria, and Local Food is very well recommended also. We never take the menu, spending an average of 65-80 Euros. Well Done Guys keep the level Up!

7.5/10Booked in at short notice once we arrived in town. Was a busy Friday night and the place is split into two parts, the sit down restaurant part and the standing bar area. The bar was lively so there was a lot of background noise but it doesn't really intrude. It is a Sidreria so that's what you should expect. The food was generous in proportion and the house seasoning is a mix of garlic and a lot of salt so I'd suggest if you're not Spanish to ask for it another way or get some table water. They do keep you lubricated with the shots of their sidre which is fairly drinkable, the wine is also very affordable, only €7 for a bottle of house white. Good authentic experience of a Sidreria
