Τhe place was absolutely amazing!
For eating though is a little bit uncomfortable..
We found the dishes rather oily and we couldnt eat the main dish because it was very bitter (which was supposed to be like this but noone informed us..
Overall a great experience mainly because of the service and the enviroment..

This place is beautiful and it is a great choice for wine and nibbles before dinner but I am not sure why it is listed on here as a restaurant... there are no proper tables! We were seated about a metre away from our food. Forcing us to get up to share an antipasti board and to eat the remainder of our courses on our laps! It was a bit of a shock for a not inexpensive meal. This would maybe be ok if it was made clearer at the point of booking. Further, some of the dishes were really disappointing, bland but very salty pasta dishes and a chocolate ‘three ways’ pudding which was just chocolate mush.

The wine was amazing, different wines meant different flavours and Iv never tased wine so good. The staff were lovely and attentive, were a little long between our courses ( we did the 4 course tasting menu) but to be fair my wife and I put wine away like water so they probably take that long for all their guests. But believe me, the wine is worth every penny. Incredible.
The food we had with our wine is paired tactfully. The food was so well presented and our chef explained where the ingredients were from. We thought the food was tasty, however we could have done with slightly bigger portions, I know it’s a tasting menu however!! All the food was traditional and representative of the region.
So we had 4 glasses of wine each ( plus two top ups from two of the wines) 4 courses, and even a Little night cap before we left......€88. Not half bad and would recommended. By the way, the setting is amazing, built into a cave.
