9.5/10The restaurant is in a beautiful hotel and provides a wonderful atmosphere. Our group of 14 had reservations for 3pm and were surprised when we entered to see a group of over 30 also being seated at the same time. We were concerned this would impact the speed of our service and food but the staff was amazing and was able to get our orders beverages and food to us in a timely manner. My seafood pasta dish was wonderful and I think all of my fellow diners were happy with their meal. Nice way to end our Camino.

2.5/10The quality of the food was poorer than any other food which we had during our 10 day visit to Galacia. The server was sick and wiped his nose with his hands while serving

10/10Excellent restaurant very close to the Cathedral with great food and service.Had the veal loin as main course and was the best i have had in many years. Also had a very unusual dessert which was chestnuts in chocolate which was excellent.Would certainly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Santiago de Compostela

7/10The restaurant location was in the Paradores but that did create a special environment - unlike the adjacent Dos Reid Especially. . Service was good. We had the sea bass and the veal loin and they were average - nothing special. Overall, rather disappointing.

3/10I ordered the veal but was given a T-bone steak. When the waiter if this was veal …he said yes it’s veal. Everyone at my table new it was not veal! It was incredibly chewy and tough. I ate a few bites. The fact that I ate a quarter did not send any alarm bells off, nor was I asked how it was when the dish was cleared. Incredibly disappointing experience when the rest of my experience at the adjacent hotel was fantastic. I’d recommend eating somewhere else if you can.

5.5/10We had hoped that eating here would be a great way to finish off the Camino walk. Instead, the food was okay but nothing special. The hotel reception (allegedly a 5 star parador) were reluctant to phone us a taxi at the end of the evening and instead offered to provide us with a number so we could phone ourselves - what a dismal way to treat a customer.

10/10We appreciated being able to book in advance online. The location was perfect after walking the Camino and the food was very good. We definitely will want to return and will recommend to others.

2/10We had a reservation and were second to be seated but we were never served. 6 tables seated after us ordered and were brought drinks but we were not asked. After waiting 20 minutes we gave up and left the restaurant.

10/10Just lovely. Great food, proper warmth and hospitality in beautiful surroundings. And the bill at the end was embarrassingly inexpensive. Many thanks to all involved. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2/10Our reservation was for 8.30. We arrived at 8.25 and there was nobody there. Came back at 8.40, a few people waiting. There were two staff, who ignored us for 10 mins, eventually we were pointed to a table , two menus thrown at us, then ignored again. Clearly understaffed, but no excuse for the rudeness. Left at 9, nobody noticed. I have never experienced such dismissive service, such a contrast to everywhere else we have been in Santiago. Really disappointing.

7.5/10The waiter was excellent (Manuel). The food quality did not meet my expectations. You are paying more for ambience than quality.

4/10It was difficult to book the main restaurant in the same hotel, So we booked this one which is next to it in the same hotel. But honestly, Mediocre food and service. Not worth it.

4.5/10Very limited choice, average quality. Not what you expect in a 5 star hotel. I will never come again. Lots of better places to eat outside the hotel

10/10We actually ate in the Don Reis restaurant (same hotel, next to Enxebre downstairs) in error, but we were delighted with it. Amazing food and ambience, and our waiter, Juan, did an excellent job and was helpful with local historical knowledge as well as menu discussion. The food and wine was fabulous - shout out for the incredible desserts including the most fabulous Ice cream ever! A wonderful evening and we would come back like a shot. (The reason we ate in the wrong restaurant is that the photos online of Enxebre are actually of Don Reis). Thanks for a fabulous evening and we hope to come back again soon.

10/10Nice and cozy place and wonderful traditional Galician food. It was not my first time and it won’t be the last one. I recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in tasting recipes from Galicia.

7/102 days before I arrived in Santiago I was in Melide where I had better Octopus at half the price. The dish at the Parador was small and had potatoes to make the small plate of Octopus even smaller. The croquettes were unimpressive. All in all a gorgeous restaurant with mediocre food.
Praza do Obradoiro, 1, 15705 Santiago de Compostela
