10/10Great food, creative signature dishes that drove us crazy. Each new thing we tasted was better than the last. Nice wine selection with only Portuguese wines, we enjoyed a nice Verde wine and later sparkling and madeira. Service was impeccable, definitely recommend for couples of groups of friend who want to taste amazing local food you're not gonna find anywhere else.

10/10This was our third visit and the food wine and service were ,as usual , ,of impeccable quality. A bonus this year was a short surrealist black and white film reminiscent of Luis Bunuel and Man Ray. We will be back next year.

6.5/10Attentive and informed service. Food is tasty but portion size is small for the price. Stylish setting but poor acoustics so noisy. Non- drinkers are not catered for at all. You are told the choice for drinks is wine or water and that's it.

10/10George and his chef travel the world to bring global culinary ideas to Portuguese small plates. We had a group of 10 people and were treated to sharing small plates. The food was amazing, the service attentive. George complimented the plates with some very nice wines from Alentejo and Douro regions. A memorable evening in Faro.

10/10Food of high quality imaginatively presented. Wine pairings are excellent. Waiter exceptionally knowledgeable and engaging. This was a return visit as we were so impressed on first occasion. Will return when next in Portugal.

10/10An absolutely wonderful dining experience!! We were recommended this restaurant by a friend who lives in Faro and it’s honestly one of the best meals we have had. We opted for the tasting menu as we were celebrating and every dish was amazing! One dish wasn’t available but the were given plenty of options to choose from as a substitute. The wine pairing was super interesting given that they have over 400 Portuguese wines and the brief but detailed descriptions from the server were the right amount of information to not overload you. Can’t recommend this place enough! If you’re looking for a special dinner, Epicur is your place.

10/10This wee restaurant was a fabulous find! The food was delicious, all explained by the waiter. Wine was lovely & the waiter matched our individual tastes perfectly! The ambience was lovely too. The staff were very friendly & made the experience 5stars! Would definitely recommend this place. We booked online & it was busy.

10/10Small restaurant. Quite loud music as we were near the speaker but they turned it down a little as soon as we asked. All food was prepared in a small open kitchen and only one waiter-very impressive service! The food was amazing and paired with lovely wines. The ambience was great. This is not a cheap place but you get quality food and wine and a great night out, definitely worth booking a table.

10/10What a wonderful discovery!! We loved everything about this restaurant. We had the tasting menu and it was delicious and creative. We were able to watch the chef and he was amazing (in the world’s smallest kitchen). And the service…wonderful. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to come back!!

10/10This is a gem of a restaurant in Faro. My husband and I tried the tasting menu and the wine pairing. Firstly the food. 7 courses, though the first would be a snack (or whatever we’re calling them this year), and every one a winner. The quality of the food was exceptional and this is a chef who really knows what he’s doing. The courses worked well together, were all perfectly balanced, and whilst not huge portions, we definitely left feeling full. The cooking is innovative, a little theatrical, but always stayed on the right side of being a grown-up experience. Now to the wine. As you’d expect all Portuguese but from across different regions. There are 7 wines on offer, one desert, one port, one red, one sparkling and three white. Nothing too “out there” but good quality and very well matched with the food. Value for money is excellent.

10/10This restaurant is very good. The ambiance is good. Service is excellent. And then the food ... We had the tasting menu. It was fantastic. Surprise after surprise. All the dishes are a the same level. They also recommend the wines that go with each of the plates. One word ... fantastic! You will see us again.

10/10I went with my wife and we took their menu. The food was beyond excellent, all the flavors blended well together and presentation was modern. We didn't took the wine pairing but we took two glasses proposed by the waiter and they went along very well with the food. Beyond the dessert that was maybe too simple compared to the other dishes I wouldn't be surprised to see this place be recommended by Gault et Millau or Michelin in the future
