8/10Staff were very friendly. Chicken fajitas were very nice and filling as you get 4 wraps . House white by the glass was nice and you get a big measure . It was very bright in the restaurant so lacked a bit of ambiance for me but otherwise good

8.5/10Fillet steak was delicious 😋, very tender and came with the hot and cold buffet which offered plenty of choice of salad or rice/hot veg. My husband had the skewer which he said was also lovely but rather a large portion! We were so full we couldn't manage dessert! We would certainly visit again when we return to Madeira.

10/10We visit Madeira every year and always make sure we book Espettus. Staff extremely friendly. Food fantastic. We had fillet beef with peppercorn sauce which was cooked to perfection and deliciously tender. We love the concept of buffer style hot & cold sides. Peaches and fried banana are also included for dessert. All in all, Espettus is a winner every time.

9/10This is a recommendation made to us by the owner of Bar in central frontier who said just mention my name which we duly did. It is a Brazilian meat restaurant with sticks of meat and pork and chicken carved at the table plus other things like fillet steak and Peri Peri chicken. When the meat is served you have a best array & choice of salad/veggies to eat with it us ample portion of wine (to pay for) and I must admit my red wine was better than expected. They finished by giving you a small glass of Madeira sweet wine to finish and the pleasant part was the total bill was slightly less than €53. Excellent tasty meats etc, excellent service and we will return and suggest you also give it a try.

9.5/10We visited Espettus on 3 occasions during our trip and we would have returned more times if they were not shutting for a well earned break. The food and service were second to none, warmth, quality and flavour over style and gimmicks. Definitely one of our favourite spots to eat. Thank you Espettus.
