Great experience in Etude. The service is very nice and professional, and the dishes are real fusion between French and Japan cuisines.

One of the most intriguing fine vegetarian experiences anywhere in the world- diverse ingredients and flavors and most importantly delicious. Service was high quality but relaxed and we appreciated it wasn’t over attentive yet was fully responsive. The $45 cost of the meal more than reasonable for the number of courses and extraordinary ingredients. Worth a trip to Paris to eat here

The chef paid too much attention to the visual aspect of the dishes (which looked good indeed), but the flavors and balance of the dishes were not inspiring. Some of the combinations were actually regrettable (eg pumpkin puree with cacao powder), the fish was actually too ordinary (a Saint Peter fillet in a Michelin-starred restaurant?) and the riz de veau was poorly cooked and the amande made foam sauce with it was tasteless.
Service was unattentive especially taking in account that there were only six tables at the restaurant; sometimes our glasses of water were empty, butter was over and bread wasn’t warm.
To make things worse, table besides us left in the middle of the tasting menu clearly unhappy. Instead of chef taking the initiative to inquiry customers what happened and/or apologize for something, he simply ignored them and let his maitre to handle the situation. Mood at the small restaurant became quite odd after the couple of customer left.....

Not easy to find but worth the hunt. Delicious delicate fusion food. Great presentation, attentive service and quiet atmosphere. The only shortcoming was 10 euro each for a CUP of tea.

This restaurant was more than I expected. The food was Devine. This should be a Michelin Star restaurant. I am pregnant and all dishes were delightful to this discerning American, to top, the waiter spoke very well English. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic evening to celebrate my girlfriend's 30th birthday. Food was well balanced, with a few surprises and layered with touches of creativity. All in all a wonderful experience.

The chef takes a lot of time and thought into each dish. He infuses unexpected flavours at times and the result is exquisite. It is a gem at a very reasonable price. If you love fine cuisine and well thought out wine matching, then it is must while in Paris.
