"Forty meters from the ground, on the top floor of the Palacio Euskalduna de Bilbao, Etxanobe restaurant can be found. No doubt it's a gastronomic temple led by Fernando Canales, a culinary commitment that blends traditional and creative cuisine, contributing to the best of each and achieving a simply spectacular result.

Of all the suggestions on perhaps the most complete menu, would be starting warm lobster salad with a sphere of their heads or a broad beans stewed with yolk of Hamlet. Continue with any of the varieties of Hakes the hake cheeks deserve special mention, or if you're more than flesh, try the Euskal txerri maskarada ribs.

They have a terrace open all year round from which you can have a magnificent view of Bilbao. Etxanobe restaurant is undoubtedly, one of the most firm and satiating bets within the current Basque gastronomy. Book now and be sure to enjoy it!"

Astonishing menu “superchef”, perfect with wine pairing. A relaxed evening enjoying company, view and creativity.

Dishes are served one by one, with a perfect pace. Never boring, never pushing, enjoying every minute spent there. Fantastic!

Very nice and knowledgeable staff. We had the chef's taster menu and it was fantastic. This is a fine dining experience featuring innovative Basque-style gastronomy. I really enjoyed it and recommend it to anyone looking for high-end dining.

I went there in 2008 with my husband and had a memorable evening then.
This time I took a friend there. It was just great, cooking on a very high level, but down to earth.
We took the Chef's Menue, which was a cross-section of local products, mainly seafood, as fresh as it can be.
Fernando Canales prepared the desert at the table....wonderful gingery flavour & consistency.
He told us that he'll be moving to a new location downtown soon - I am sure we'll try it out in the near future.

They must not close the gourmet-restaurant 30 minutes after the guests arrived, they knew the performance ended at 23.30 this night.

Rather pretentious food but good flavours, but what on earth is that sardine and tomato lipstick all about, more suited to a children's playgroup, and just because I was on my own I was relegated to an outside terrace. Ok so I wasn't the smartest in the restaurant and I didn't have a blond on my arm but I was still paying the same money, shame because the chef can cook

Great night out ! Tried chef's menu - great ajo blanco / salmon bonbon / anchovy lasagna / tuna cooked with sumac , and the desserts ! Fernando Canales is a good host and chef - he looks a bit like Jose Mourineo :-)

Great experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the chefs' menu. Highlghts were the salmon bonbon, the tuna an orange cream desert. Good value for money.
