Located within the upper-scale Andaz by Hyatt hotel, the restaurant is elegant but also ‘’gemütlich’’, boasting a relaxed atmosphere. No need to wear jacket and tie! A huge thumbs-up to the staff for the smiling and friendly behaviour throughout the evening. But thumbs-down for the excessive waiting time. In particular: It took half an hour between amuse-bouche and starter, despite the restaurant being only half-full. All in all I spent 2.5 hours - which is quite long when dining solo. Fortunately the food proved very tasty and made up for the inconvenience. As starter I chose the deer ravioli which was delicious. As main course the salmon trout was delicate and perfectly prepared. Eventually I indulged in the Valrhona chocolate dessert which was to die for: I almost licked my plate clean.

We had the Fork summer tasting menu. Each of the 4 courses were both beautifully presented and delicious. Our waiter recommended a beautiful Pinot which we also enjoyed. This was our first restaurant where our waiter asked if we’d like more time between each dish which we did request! Such a lovely relaxed pace. We highly recommend this restaurant!

There was little accomodation for a lactose-free meal, the waitress couldn’t answer our questions about the dishes we asked. Furthermore we took the 13 euro gin tonic on the menu, but they charged us 17 euro for an additional tonic ( which we didnt ask for ). The food was ok. Nothing more. Would not recommend the restaurant.

I booked a table at 12.30 for a lunch, but there is no lunch and the restaurant closes at 13h. So, we just had a couple of eggs from breakfast instead of a lunch.
