Myself being basque, I found this place really a true reconstruction of what I’d find back at home. Recommendations from the personnel were honest and worthy to take in account.

Unfortunately when a reservation is made it is for the restaurant and the restaurant is not reserved for tapas. Whom ever had that idea is not very bright as we were ready to drop some serious coin in the restaurant eating tapas. So if you want to be known for one of the best tapas restaurant in barcelona you may want to reconsider your policy on where your customers can eat. Kinda dumb.

They have a restaurant inside a tapas bar. The food is a mix of Basque and Catalonian. Excellent duck, fish and steak had by all. Fast and efficient service. The wait staff was nice and professional. Amazing by the glass wines. Tapas or formal dining I don't think you can go wrong.

We had a delightful lunch from the restaurant price fixe menu. The service was impeccable, the menu offerings varied, and the setting/location ideal.

Amazing selection of pintxos, so vibrant, colourful and very tasty indeed, all washed down with a very reasonably priced (for a restaurant) bottle of Tempranillo. We would highly recommend this place.

We were overcharged. We took the chef's recommendation, fish of the day. Turbot caught on line is of course expensive and we pay by the weight. However: The fish was perhaps 700 g, but we were charged for 1,1 kg, about 25 € extra for nothing.
