Being a Turkish living in Paris, I was very excited when I found this little restaurant. Reading the comments of others made me only more excited to come and taste their cuisine. However, my friends and I were quite disappointed. Even my partner who is not Turkish but has been to Turkey quite a few times said “this is not Turkish service”. I don’t know if it’s the usual case, or it was like that only on the day we went, but there was only one server who was taking care of everything. That’s why the service was slow and poor. We had to go through the starters only with 2 forks, we had to remind him that there were no cutlery and napkins on the table. The food was good but I was expecting it to be exquisite. Some dishes were an “interpretation” of the Turkish cuisine. My partner was very excited when he saw sucuk on the menu, but it wasn’t the real deal. I don’t want to say the food was bad, but I was expecting more.
