This is, for me, by far the best Curry restaurant in the country. Great food at great prices - can recommend it to anyone. Clear menu with spicy-food warnings, helpful and friendly staff.. what's not to like?

We had a delicious curries at this restaurant. Chicken Madras and Lam Dansak were the best among other four dishes. Garlic Nan and rice was of good quality.
Service was good and fast.
We will surely come back again.

Fantastic Indian food. We had vegetable samosas, onion bhajees, lamb biriyani, chicken tikki masala and naan bread. We were also given complementary poppadums to start with, with three excellent tangy curry/pickle sauces, and flavoursome mango chutney. Kingfisher beer and house red were good. Main courses were light and tasty, not especially spicy, but on the next visit we will ask for more spice. Serving staff were very attentive, and gave us one round of drinks on the house to compensate for the delay in our main courses arriving - a delay that was so short, we hadn't even noticed it!

we had excellent meals with my colleague at everest. I had botti kebab ( appetizer) and chicken madras as main, both were spicy as it should be and very nice. My friend found the chicken tika mussalla and nan bread very good. Definitely, we will come back again.

Consistency is everything. Have had 4 or 5 brilliant meals here, always on a Tues, and we turned up on Friday expecting the best QPR food in town. Unfortunately that did not happen. Sure, the service came with a smile and the price was modest, but the quality of the food was not up to the high standard they had previously shown. The pasty on the samosa was wrong, the naan was not quite cooked thru, all 4 curry dishes had too much salt in them and there was more oil in the dishes than normal. Felt very much like another chef was working in the kitchen, but when I asked, they said it was the normal chef. Strange. Hopefully a one of blip as I really was beginning to really like curry again.

Simply put, this gets my vote as the place that serves the best food in Leiden. Eaten here 4 times now and every time I´ve been impressed with the lightness of the curries and the subtle spicing. Does not look like much compared to some places, but the prices are not out of this world either.
