Food was amazing especially Portuguese steak so tasty and simple. Some staff were a little on grumpy side. Mussels and goats cheese in filo pastry to start amazing Portugueses steaks were delicious cleaned the plate and almond tart for dessert to finish would recommend all

Worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The waitress put us beside a table of 6 who were clearly drunk, loud and obnoxious. There was plenty of room throughout the restaurant. So the absolute stupidity of this was bewildering. We thought they’d leave soon,but the waitress kept on serving them more alcohol. They had no control over the situation, and not one member of staff asked them to be quiet whilst we were there. The food was below average,we had carpaccio which was tasteless, my rib eye was fine,but the chips weren’t cooked, and the veg was poor. Expensive for what it is .

I decided to pass on the cover and starter as I wanted the chicken curry, and haven’t managed to finish it before, still didn’t this time, but made a good effort. Not particularly pleasing to the eye, but the chicken is so tender, and rice and sauce are superb. Husband had a Portuguese steak, and he still maintains it is one of the best in this area. Service was superb.

Have eaten here a few times it never disappoints from the lovely ambience to the amazing food.. The shared fillet steak was delicious especially being served on a saltstone . Will definitely be back

This wasn’t our first visit, but we were pleased that we were in the conservatory area of the restaurant when the larger groups of golfers arrived. Not that they were a problem, but it was obviously noisier inside. I think the restaurant coped with the larger parties very well, seating them inside.

The place looks great. Service is outstanding. We had the 20 oz lamb steak, and it was amazing. No more spot for a dessert. Price level is quite high, but considering the location it's normal. Off season it was a bit quiet, a bit more people around would have been nice.
