The dishes were well presented. The staff there are so nice. The environment would be excellent if there is more space inside the restaurant. Anyway, the overall rating is high for our dining.

The food is delicious and all staff are friendly. The atmosphere on Thursday was enhanced with life music and Saturday it was laid back with people enjoying themselves with lots of chattered. Would definitely go back when in Sydney.

Great service and really lovely food. Great to have as our local. We shared the prawn ravioli and the lasagne and calamari which were all great. We will be back!

Lovely quaint italian restaurant with truly fantastic food, great service and an ambient t atmosphere. The pizza - Roman style - was so so good. Never had such a fresh and delicious tomato base before. The pasta amazing too. Presentation perfect. Nice wine list too, and everything reasonably priced. A wonderful l place. Such extraordinarily good Italian food in a gem of a place.

Italian food, Italian wines, Italian staff. Nothing comes closer to being in Italy than having dinner at Fermento. From the moment you enter until you get out, expect to have the best gastronomic experience of all Sydney. 10/10 highly recommended

We stumbled across Fernento when we explored this area after we arrived from Melbourne for a short stay in Sydney. The vibe fantastic, live music Thursday night and food simple, clean and rustic Italian. I felt I’d transported to a small Italian “cool” village. Loved it and highly recommend it. Jean

Roman pizza was delicious , and the wine & beer we were recommended paired divinely! The semifreddo was also the perfect frosty and fresh bite to end the meal with. Wedges and mushroom tagliatelle were definitely scrumptious, but didn’t steal the show in comparison to the other two. I would go back for the pizza and wine, the friendly and efficient service, and relaxed intimate vibe.

Staff was great. Menu was limited but soild. great wine selection. Small and quaint. Lasagna was outstanding. Portion size was a bit scant. Wouldn't hesitate to go back

Quality and presentation of food is excellent. Good size servings and the pizza bread is to die for. The two waiters are excellent with personable and attentive service. We had a live singer tonight (Thursday) which is a nice touch but she was a little loud for a small restaurant setting. I can highly recommend Fermento as a smart and welcoming local.

Fantastic food, fantastic service, and fantastic vibes all around. We’re visiting from Los Angeles, and Fermento served us some of the best food we’ve ever had. We only wish we could stay longer to enjoy more items from their menu!

Amazing food and great service in this cozy italian restaurant. The pizza was fantastic and super easy to digest and a very good selection of Italian beer. If I really have to point something I will say the napoli sauce on the pizza can be a bit better in terms of quality and seasoning.

Fabulous restaurant. The food was great and the service efficient and friendly. The desserts were delicious. This was a wonderful "surprise find". Highly recommend eating here.
