Very deserving of it's Michelin star status, one of the dishes (the chicken with foie gras and scallop) was so good, it literally brought me to tears. If you enjoy culinary experiences, the food was fantastic and the atmosphere far more relaxed and casual than other Michelin starred restaurants. Service was fantastic too.

I made a mistake, decided that 3 course restaurant menu would not be enough for me and started with dim sum. They were quite ordinary while the chef lunch menu was really delicious. Will take only this one next time.

Stunning food. A place to go for an experience as much as a meal. We had a seven course Christmas dinner and every course was delicious. Don’t go if you are in rush, don’t go if you can’t afford a blow-out. Do go if you really enjoy very good, creative food and can give 3 or so hours indulging.

Fantastic experience! Wonderful, original, fresh and local foods in a fun, attractive, intimate setting. World class. A super meal experience. My husband and I dined here the evening following competing in the Worlds triathlon in Rotterdam. A terrific way to celebrate.

Op een mooie zonnige zondag. Tafel bij de deur net niet in de zon. Uitermate vriendelijk en kundig personeel, mooie ambiance, vriendelijke en toegankelijke chef, ondanks het verlies van Feijenoord. Eten heerlijk ( vooral de zeeebaars, die kabeljauw bleek te zijn).
Kortom 10++, aanrader.

The food was both aesthetically and visually stunning and the mood within the restaurant matched this. The staff were very friendly and were able to explain all of the dishes to us in English, as well as Dutch. This might be a relatively expensive restaurant but you get what you pay for and more.

Great food experience at FG foodlabs. Some very interesting flavours and combinations, in a friendly and easy atmosphere. The cold-warm dish with the nitrogen preparation is definitely memorable.
But! (there are a few buts)
1) we were not entirely amazed by the level of creativity. From a place that prides itself of being a "lab" one should expect more.
2) some details were simply clumsy: some sauce was too salty; please don't give me a main with tons of stir-fried cauliflower florets when I pay 80 euros,...
3) very uncomfortable seats by the bar. You stare at the wall for four hours, I now remember all the gins' labels details: who can even think this is a nice idea? It is just a silly trend that will disappear.
4) Too few personnel for a very crammed place: the result is very little care of timing and needs.
5) Vegetarian dishes were generally well-thought, but the main was pretty improvised.
6) In the context of NL restaurants, all in all this dinner should be charged significantly less; evidently one pays a lot for the hype surrounding the place. I am afraid revenue optimization is too central at FG labs.
