About the restaurant Fidalga Barcelona

"Few restaurants can claim to be touched by the wand of good taste and extremely careful decor as is Fidalga. Located at the foot of the Sagrada Familia, this Barcelona restaurant can be found, that from the first until the last moment will leave you speechless.

And you have given the environment a ten, where food is concerned, the score will not be any lower at all. What about the crispy egg with truffled potato parmentier and mushroom duxelle? Why not let yourself go with the explosive flavor of the mango risotto or even the slow cooked lamb with scallops? Will you finish your meal with a brownie?

If you are someone who believes in Mediterranean food elevated to its maximum expression, your choice of Fidalga as your favorite restaurant is the right choice."

Overpriced. Food not so bad but there is not much to eat. I tried this one because it is not very far from my hotel and it has a good review. However, I am deceived for the price paid. Even with 30%, it is still overpriced, mini portion for a dish of 17 euros. You will still be hungry after the meals. We can have much better and much cheaper around.

I followed other fork users recommendations and score for this place but the menu was really poor and the meet (hamburguer) was a fast food style one, even asking the waiter about the meet quality he recommended me that it was a good hamburguer. Not at al and server in bread not as it is usual in a restaurant just with the thick meat peace. I dont understand how the forks score are so high. Maybe because I chosed the daily menu. Shame Im not coming back to try "carta"

The atmosphere was pleasant and the food was good, though we ordered a dish twice and only one was delivered.

When we entered the Fidalga, it was empty. We found it through TripAdvisor and were curious to check it out, but when we saw the empty room, it was a little spooky. We are happy we tried it out anyway.

The Fidalga offers a smaller set of dishes, but they are all very interesting combinations of fresh ingrediences. Every dish was a delight, they were super nice to the kids, and the wine recommendation was really great. You could tell the cook knows his job.

After a while the restaurant filled, so I guess we were too early for Spain.

We loved the food! The setting was great and a footstep from sagrada familia, and not at all turistic

Service was too slow. Quality of food was decent, my particular pork dish among the 5 of us was poor. To be fair, the waitress did warn me that it came with BBQ sauce, but I chose it anyway. I really didn't think anything special here, so I will not recommend, but it's not bad. If it's convenience to eat there (like close to where you stay like in our case), then go ahead, just don't go out of your way to dine there.
