It was an extremely cold reception, almost blocked us from entering until I told him I had a reservation. We were shown to a lovely table overlooking the river, the service and food were very good BUT there was no ambience at all, no music no interaction, it actually felt awkward. Leaving the restaurant and walking 200 yards it felt like you had entered a different world, music, conversation, smiles and a welcome. A smile and a friendly gesture goes a long way.

The food was very good but the service was grim. 2 waiters not at all pleasant. Orders covers which were good but didn’t get cagance to eat as mains came less than ten minutes after ordering.

The price for my dish was more than it should be. A friend didn’t like his dish but they refused to exchange his dish. The bread was stale.

Attentive maître de, we were made to wait 30mins for our table, the maitre de kept as well informed and he gave us a glass of wine – which was added to our bill! Good food.

Restaurant ligt op een toplocatie naast de LUIS I brug. Dus erg toeristische omgeving, maar heel gezellige locatie. Eten is prima; prijzen op Nederlands niveau.

Fast turnover tourist restaurant and quiet uncomfortable sitting on a slope. Apart from the slope this restaurant we found typical as an example of the many restaurants in Porto. Quiet poor food and fast turnover. It is better to pay more and go somewhere that have proper chefs.

The waitress wasn’t friendly and we had the fish with potatoes, it was 2 potatoes and the salmon was super small. We were still hungry afterwards but paid a lot.

Impossible to enjoy the dinner. Distance between tables is 10 cm. Basically you share the table with random people. Average food quality. Nothing special.
