The bar area in the hotel and service there was nice. However we booked the Christmas Eve dinner and the service was rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. The restaurant looked like a cheap diner with bright lights. No candles or effort for Christmas. I ordered a glass of wine and the sommelier poured the remains of the bottle in my glass (about 2oz) , looked at me and asked if I wanted a full glass! When I said yes she reluctantly opened another bottle. With a very surly attitude. The duck was so tough we couldn’t cut it with steak knife. The food was mediocre at best. Presentation was lacklustre. Overall this was the worst Christmas Eve dinner I have ever had in Europe. And I’ve been to many! When we asked for the hotel to order us a taxi back to our hotel they told us it would take 30 minutes. So I ordered an Uber which arrived in 5 minutes. Avoid this hotel and don’t even consider dinner in the restaurant.

Elegant outdoor space, generous portions. The peixe espada com arroz de tomate had a lot of flavor. Frango na pucara was a bit bland. Overall a good experience.

The food was delicious. Mostly, but the shrimp in a Brazilian sauce was bland and disappointing.i had expected something spicy.The breaded shrimp with said mayonnaise was superb .the seafood rice was excellent .the tuna was not great

The food was really special and so tasty. Amazing presentation. We were a table of 8 and were given our own alcove, which was lovely. Staff were very attentive and knowlegable. would highly recommend if you are looking for something special.

Lovely restaurant, attentive, knowledgeable, and efficient staff. They had a really good vegetarian option (lentil burger) , and the food was healthy too.. Salted caramel dessert was amazing and the food presentation was lovely all the way through. Pricey, but it was a special occasion so worth it.

Set in a beautiful old world mansion. The atmosphere and food is very good but it certainly is pretentious. The pre set lunch menu is not served on holidays, unfortunately- which is why I chose to go. Ended up paying a lot.
