This was my second visit to Fouquet. A friend had told me of this wonderful restaurant on Javastraat that I had to try. He was right. It was an amazing experience both times. The food was excellent. Well prepared, well presented. There are many good restaurants in Den Haag. But very few where the chef has a vision and can carry it out perfectly and leave you wanting more.

The staff make you feel welcome from the moment you step in the restaurant. The are friendly, very knowledgable and really seem to enjoy being part of Fouquet. Thank you Levi.

My only regret is that I can't fit in a third visit before I leave for home. But rest assured, it's first on my list when I come back.

Surprise menu of good quality, well prepared and presented.
Service eye-watering slow, we left before dessert and coffee.
Table by window too cold for comfort.

We had an amazing evening at Fouquet! We want for the all in 5-course dinner with matching wines. The food was great and the wine selection very tasty and great match for the food. The restautant is very nicely decorated and the service was very friendly and professional. Thank you to the whole team for the great evening! We'll be back and we warmly recommend this place!

I ate at Fouquet twice in a week recently. The first time was in a group of seven and the second time in a group of four. The first time I chose from the Menu du Marche. As a starter I chose the cod with creme fraiche. It was tasty, but the portion was quite small. For a main course I chose the bavette with pastinaak. It was also tasty, but again the portion was quite small. Worse, it was barely warm when served. The main issue though was the time we had to wait between courses. Fifteen to twenty minutes is acceptable, but more than thirty minutes is not. I can only assume there was an issue in the kitchen that evening as the restaurant was not particularly full. After my initial experience I was tempted to cancel the second reservation, but I'm glad I didn't as my meal was perfect. This time I chose from the Al a Carte menu. As a starter I had the smoked salmon on the toasted brioche and as a main course I shared the cote de boeuf with a friend. Both were prepared and cooked to perfection. I was too full after that to eat a dessert! There was no long waiting time between courses and the service was inpeccable. As an accompaniment to the meal we drank the Chardonnay from California and the Malbec from Argentina. Both can be recommended.

Very good iens menu, with excellent amuse. Smiling staff, we ate in a kind of semi covered terrace which allows feeling outside while not being cold. A very nice evening !

We were treated to an amazing meal by a friend that lives in town. We ordered the "menu du marche". 4 courses of Devine food with amazing service. Each course was accompanied by a selected wine. The chef, Sebastian, made special selections for one of our group that did not like fish.
Great service, honest food, elegant presentation and relaxing environment.
We left very happy.

We went for a special occasion dinner and ordered the 4 course chef's surprise menu with wine pairing. The food was delicious, the wines interesting, and the service was excellent. The sommelier is very knowledeable and professional. Would go back myself and recommend to anyone looking for a high quality and fairly priced dining experience.

Great address for a diner for 2. The surprised menu was good around fish. Nothing extraordinary but good value for money .
