Nice little restaurant serving very good Italian food. Between the four of us, no one was disappointed with any of the 6 different dishes we ordered. Lamb chop and carpaccio in particular very good, as was the apple cake!

The bruschetta had carrots in it. we stopped at the appetizers. it is next to a canal, but seating is across the street/sidewalk from the canal. Service was very nice.

Despite it being extremely busy with opera visitors, the service was impeccable and the food well-timed. We go here for an impromptu lunch sometimes, nice spot with great views.

Cosy and down-to-earth kind of place very close to the National Opera house. We had risotto and pappardelle, and it was probably the most tasty versions we tried, from the Italian kitchen. We told the waiter we were going to the ballet, so we were in and out in one hour, without rush.

Our flight had been delayed and we were late for our booking, we thought maybe we would lose our table, but staff were very kind and welcoming. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great and the food delicious. After a very stressful journey our visit to Frenzi was an excellent start to our stay in Amsterdam.
