Excellent
This restaurant gives it all -- great ambience, superb service, and delicious food and wine. Even though it is in a very touristy area ( Pizza della Signoria) don't let that fool you . Will come back again and again!
As always, incredible food, wonderful service, fantastic wine list & a beautiful view.
They served us 3 glasses of Wine at the Same time( tasting) hot!! Instead of one at a time. Food reasonable, service not very attentive.. A touristic restaurant!!!
we have eaten in this restaurant every time we are in Florence but have two say on this occasion its seems two have slipped , all the food products were fresh and tasty but no real wow factor and being as it was valentines day a bit of a let down , and also the service, after refusing two have two bottles of wine priced at €100 & €140 forced on us , service was very lacklustre. we eat in its sister restaurant in london mayfair at least once a month and even attend there wonderful wine tasting evenings .so i think we might give the Florence establishment a miss next time we are there , but already booked up for there mayfair establishment for the end of february
The restaurant is in a beautiful location and the restaurant itself is beautiful. Soft lights, dark colors very quiet and romantic. The staff was extremely polite and friendly. Food was delicious, scallops were really tasty and cooked perfectly, pasta with clams was delicious you could smell and taste the sea, it just brings you to Capri. Taglioni with black truffle were amazing as well. Sorbet was great. Overall Perfect, a 10/10
Excellent. We have been in Florence for 11 nights. This was our best dining experience. Good value, but good food too. Use TripAvisor or The Fork for Reservations. Crowded on a Sunday night in January.
Our third visit to this restaurant, having returned each year. Great ambiance and good service as usual, but on this occasion we found the food to be average. I had scallops for starter which were served with an unimaginative dollop of mayonnaise. They were well cooked but I thought the dish lacked flavor. For main we both had ravioli with ricotta and black truffles which were not bad but nothing special and they seemed a little lacking on the truffles. A stylish location but for the price I would expect the food to be better. I didn't find it to be good value for money on this visit.
Only one disappointment on the mix of ossobuco as a second course after other fish dishes because I felt it too heavy.
Excelente food, wonderful wines in a happy and vibrant atmosphere
The food is extremely good,i have a unforgettable birthday experience in restaurant, thanks to gentle waiters, great taste of food, good wine and yummy dessert, everything is perfect. If I come back to Florence, I will come to have dinner
Considering the location is in a high tourist traffic area, the quality of food and services were excellent. Often you won't find this is the case is tourist areas. We were pleasantly surprised.
Amazing fresh pasta in a gorgeous setting with an excellent wine list.
I have loved the Frescobaldi brand for many years. I love wine, culture, the spirit of the company. The level of quality of everything that the company does is always incredibly high. I remember the old restaurant thanks to which I fell in love with the brand even more. There was a very warm atmosphere, amazingly professional and friendly waiters, the Manager was just beyond professional. After the opening of the new restaurant, everything changed. Not the first time in a new, and with each time all worse and worse. The last time was disappointing. Rude inattentive waiters. They are constantly changing. Long preparing food. The level of the kitchen is not what it used to be. It's very frustrating. The waiters in the neighboring establishments and the cuisine there is already better than the best and oldest wine company in Italy. Very want hope that this change. Since the competition is obviously very strong. Given the fact that Gucci next opened such a strong project, this is especially true. Thanks
I love Frescobaldi. Every time i come to Florence i always make a point to go there. The pasta with truffles is my favorite. Never had a bad meal there. They have moved from the old place which makes me sad but the new place is very beautiful as well. Until next time.
The restaurant is always great. We wanted to dine indoors, but the air conditioning was not on - so it was warm. We asked to be seated outdoors.... and it was a lovely night.
Nice place
Wonderful
We booked Frescobaldi on the recommendation. Of a colleague who had visited 2 years ago. Lovely setting on the Piazza. We chose sit outside to make the most of the weather and the view. The food and wine were excellent. We went for a Tuscan Vermentino and a selection of antipasti, mains and contorni. Would definitely recommend and will revisit when back in Florence.
Great view. Perhaps the best looking at Piazza Della Signoria. Great service. Good selection of Wines at affordable prices. Food is good yet not much alternative especially if you’re looking for Tuscan dishes
It’s overpriced and food is not good, the location and set up is really nice!! Not worth the money though. I could say its a commercial tourists place
