I thought the food was nice & the atmosphere good. The only thing I didn’t like was when we asked for the bill we didn’t receive a bill as such just a total amount to pay & the card machine. I don’t think we got our 30% off. I should have insisted on a bill but it should be given as a matter of course to ensure the customer is not over charged.

Food was really good. I had the mushroom omelette, that came with a small salad and fries. The only (and very small) thing, was that the restaurant hadn’t read the note added to the reservation.

Super fillet steak with Madeira wine sauce. Scabbard with fruit excellent too. Glass of wine very reasonable. Lovely helpful, smiling waiter. We will be back.

There was a bit of a mix up with an online reservation but they accommodated our group of 8. The food was great - the octopus especially and the service was great.

We have visited this place several times in the last year and have never been disappointed. The food is well seasoned and presented. My favourite has to be the pork in Madeira sauce but the espatada was also delicious. As for the service the staff are all very attentive and friendly which adds to the experience.

The best restaurant we tryed on the island. We got amazed by the menu quality (You should try local dishes the chef has improved the tradicional recipe and they are very very good) and the service was also the best by far, the owner was very cool with us and the waiter was paying attention to every detail. I 100% recommend eating here.

We chose the vegan tofu & chickpea skewers. We are actually vegetarian but no such choices on the menu. The food was bland & not considered. It is so easy to make a meat free dish tasty. The other dishes looked good but they seem to be trying to capture the vegan market with no idea how to make tasty vegan or vegetarian food. To make things worse it looks like when our credit card failed to connect? we seemed to have been charged twice. We will not be back
