The staff was very friendly at the beginning, they began bringing in some food we didn’t order and we asked the lady about the bread and she said it is included and then she brought chicken soup for everybody and again she said it is included then I asked for her colleague to verify het story and he began to yell and ripping of the bread from my kids plate and hand it was awful!! Dinner wasn’t all that great either, I think this place was way over priced!

Great welcome. The chef offered us some tasting plates. The meat was excellent, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely a place to return.

Very attentive and friendly staff which made us feel welcome from the very first moment,they gave us very good suggestions related to food, by their attitude made us feel welcome. The food - maybe one of the best food which we had in Madrid, each single dish has its own flavor, very fresh, presented on table with care for detail.

This is little restaurant at the good location. Their staff is so great that you do not believe that they are real . Excellent food and service! Starters, Paella, wine, sangria was amazing!

Nice complimentary pre-starters. Staff made efforts to make my husbands birthday special and service was good. Ambience not great though - often difficult when off a hotel lobby but lighting levels way too high. We were given English menus but they were translated inaccurately as the tomato & mango salad starter I ordered had tinned tuna all over it! I really don’t like tinned fish and the smell really spoilt the rest of the meal. We wouldn’t go back.

We made a reservation at the GastroVia 61 after being in a Michelin star restaurant the evening before, The GastroVia restaurant was a very pleasant surprise and left us with a far more pleasant experience than the previous evening. The staff are brilliant and do their very best to explain every dish to you in English. I was served the best steak that I have had since arriving in Spain, and as if that wasn’t the best part of the evening as a desert I got a deconstructed Irish coffee desert that was created by a genius. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Madrid and would guarantee that you would definitely leave wanting to return. To the staff, I would like to thank you for a great evening and hope to see you all again. Best regards Jim.
