Great value for the quantity. But sadly the steaks were let down because it was too bland. We really wanted to like it but sadly I've never eaten a steak so bland. Service was nice and polite but we had to wait more than 30mins just for our starters. But nice ambiance and should be good if you temper your food expectation.

We ordered bursts and the beetroot ceviche. Then we both had Ryno steak and we shared the Dulce de Le he cheesecake. Really delicious. Staff very friendly yet professional. Lovely meal.

Can't fault the staff or ambience but the quality of the rump steaks was really disappointing. Sirloins were much better according to our guests.

????Was a disaster...... booked this for a special occasion for me and my wife...visiting Birmingham for a concert We turned up at 5 pm was Lovely inside but only 2 only other diners We had booked using the fork to have a set meal at £60 a head ( gave ourselves a £200 bill budget With cocktails and wine etc And had liked the the look of the menu The waitress was lovely at first but as soon as we mentioned the fork menu we had booked her attitude towards changed instantly. She seemed disappointed and made us feel cheap.... was so embarrassed and we didn't warrant her time now They then brought out a lunch menu on a piece of card...completely different to what we thought we were getting...food was different options. It was cheaper at £45 a head but menu wasn't as good plus no free glass of wine. We mentioned this to the waitress and she went to get the manager....she was nice but had never heard of the menu wither We deliberated for a few minutes and felt so awkward we asked to leave. Romancing was kind of dead now ! Kind of killed the vibe We went to cosy club and had drinks and food instead ...bit overdressed but we're treated well and Enjoyed it. Luckily we found somewhere to fit us in The assistant Manager was nice from gaucho was nice to be fair and then emailed us an apology and one free person on there set menu next visit ! Don't know who is at fault Gaucho or fork but this has really put me off using this app to book for a special occasion in the future A very disappointing experience in all

I had an amazing time! We were greeted by this lovely lady on the door, she also had a lovely dress on and was well presented. It was just great! My first time in there and it was excellent service and great food! The staff were so attentive and polite!

I have visited gauchos previously on many occasions, I requested for my steak to be medium well, the steak was burnt. I could not cut the steak - tbh I am very disappointing when my partner brought it up to the host we was spoken to like we were stupid and told it was a medium well steak? The steak was beyond well done. I didn’t touch it - I don’t think il be returning.

Gaucho was an incredible experience, from the moment we walked in the door we felt welcomed. The food was absolutely amazing, as was the wine. However the best part of our dining experience was our waiter Matt. He really knew his stuff and he went above and beyond to provide us with a magical evening.

Great food, great service! My wife and I went there to celebrate our anniversary, and after the meal the staff brought a complementary desert with "Happy anniversary" written in chocolate. Really nice touch.

The service and food was very good. The staff are efficient and friendly. I think the prices are quite high. The wine is £12-£18 per glass depending on what you have. I asked for some tap water and received 2 bottles of still water at £4.50 each. The steaks are brilliant. We paid £320 for 4 people with service charge.

Very good meat restaurant. Authentic Argentine flavors in the empanadas, chimichurris and desserts. Very good wine chart including very good selection of Argentine wines

Great steak, really helpful and friendly staff! would appreciate more halal starter options. I would deffo recommend for the steak, the char-grilled steak was best I’ve had so far - very authentic

let down by having to ask for 2 wines only to be told unavailable. if the wine list is too large to maintain stock trim it ! you made the customer work hard having to choose 2 quality wines only to be told. not available. the waiter made a great recovery in his apologies and recommendation. but you need to address your wine ordering and maintenance of your wine list.
