10/10Everything at Gazebo was perfect. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Chef Filipe and Chef Joel clearly have so much passion for their dishes and craft. The entire experience was fantastic and a really well-run establishment! A must-try while in Madeira!

10/10Lovely and unexpected welcome from Chef Filipe, the start of a wonderful culinary experience. Each course brought a surprise, a personal favourite the hazelnut topped celeriac. One very small criticism is the amount of wine served, by the time you had an initial taste there was little left to accompany the food. This shouldn’t detract from what was a fantastic experience - having eaten at many UK Michelin restaurants I can say Filipe and his team are heading in the right direction.

10/10The food was delicious and the restaurant is in a lovely setting with no more than 7 tables. We had the east to west menu with wine pairing - all the courses were explained well and the head chef came to the table to talk to through the inspiration and ingredients of each of the main courses. One of the better tasting menus we have experienced and the food was all locally sourced. Would definitely recommend for a special evening.

10/10Fantastic experience from start to finish. Food was a delight & the story behind every course explained what we were about to eat with perfection. Very special meal with excellent service in a lovely setting. Only one thing would make it even better would be more comfortable chairs. We have already passed details on to others & will definitely return on our next visit to the island.

10/10An exhilarating experience, a secret spot that we discovered about this morning and decided to give a go. We had a 4 course menu with wine pairings which accompanied the food perfectly. Each course was packed with flavour and left you excited for the next,,,, it was a perfect amount of food not leaving you too overwhelmed. The waiters and chefs were absolutely amazing and made the experience as best as possible.

10/10I think Gazebo has become one of my favorite restaurants on the island, especially for a special occasion. The meal started with being met by the sous chef and having drinks and canapé in the garden. Then we moved inside to a beautiful room in the family Quinta with an open concept kitchen. The staff was so kind and informative and the set menu of home made bread made with sweet potato and a side of babaganoush, followed wonderful Madeira greens, perfectly prepared Red Snapper and a dessert of banana ice cream with banana bread were just incredible. We did the wine pairing (which they were very generous with) and I found my new favorite white wine: Casal a Coelheira. Highly recommend!
