Just perfect!!

The restaurant staff were very welcoming and helpful in recommending dishes. I thought the food was exceptional with wonderful flavour and quality. I would thoroughly recommend Gessetto Restorante.

Excellent and friendly service. Special request was graciously accommodated by management. Food was good, although for our taste, we needed to add a bit of seasoning. We had the carpaccio to start with Parmesan and sunflower seeds (tasty but meat could have been a bit more tender), lasagna and tagliatelle bolognese (both were very good) and veal flambé with potatoes (the house specialty which was okay). Wine list was limited with carefully selected labels. We will probably come back on a future visit to try some of the other menu items which looked delicious as we surveyed the room.

Excellent food and service. Dishes were all very tasty and creative. If we were staying longer we’d go there again.

Very good meal. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The zucchini starter was fantastic, as was the pasta of the house.

This was our favourite restaurant in the week of our stay in Bologna. The food was fantastic and every dish was explained to us by the lovely staff there. It was obvious that they took their food very seriously and everything was cooked with love for their wonderful ingredients. A really really good evening.

So delicious! We really enjoyed this little restaurant. From the staff to the atmosphere to the food, everything was wonderful. The mixed meat appetizer and Lasagna Bolognese were the best we ever tasted. Highly recommended!

Best meal we had in Bologna. Incredible service.

Gessetto was a lovely restaurant, and very accomodating. We arrived an hour early and wanted to sit outside rather than inside (where our table for 6 was ready) and nothing was too much trouble. All the food was delicious - we particularly liked their lasagne (best in Bologna we thought) and veal. Their homemade pasta and bread were great. After dinner had suggestions of local liqueurs. If we were staying longer we'd definitely go back. Serving staff were friendly and funny as well as informative.

Very high quality food and very nice service

Great meal and great service. Giangorgio and Daniello proved to be excellent hosts. Sharing their house-made olive oil and suggestions for our meal. I chose lasagna and Carlos got tagliatelle with sausage. Both of us were pleased with our choices.

Our first time in Bologna but Gessetto seemed to us a really excellent, authentic bolognesi restaurant. Simple, tasty food beautifully prepared, efficient and friendly service and a really nice relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended!
