The whole evening was fabulous, we were seated immediately, the service was exemplary with a hint of humour, their knowledge base on the food and the wine, coupled with the description of each course was second to none. I look forward to returning soon and visiting the new venue afterwards also.

GIN is Amsterdam's best kept secret. It has integrity in all it does and it does everything well. The food was so clever...genius. The service fun and engaging. This has to be my top rated experience for food, wine and service in the world.. a big claim but it blew my mind.

Booked a table there with a friend following a good mark in a well known Dutch newspaper and I have to say I was not disappointed!
You have a menu of 6 courses all extremely delicate and creative (even the cheese course is creative!!) . We added oysters as an extra course and they were prepared with a Ginger foam, just really delicious! Only downside food wise is that the 1st course is not really one but more a mise en bouche...
Beverages side also great: from cocktails to wine everything is GOOD!
On top you have a 1st class service (which for Amsterdam is really amazing!!!!), imagine each time you leave your seat they actually fold your napkin... :-).
You have a small super efficient passionate little army full of enthusiasm and you can really feel their PASSION for what they are doing. There is a real nice vibe there!
They are also paying attention to the details and food presentation so the plates you are served in are refined (I would say even beautiful...).
Environment wise I was a bit overwhelmed with the noise level, so that would be my improvement point ;)

The food here is simply amazing. It's modern, different, but the chef is an artist with the food. Presentation and taste alike, it's a wonderful culinary experience! The wine pairings are also wonderfully done. Highly recommended!

Easily a top 5 dinner of my life. Every experimental seeming dish they brought out, actually nailed the flavor. Staff was wonderful, perfect Christmas dinner.

Went to GIN as an early christmas dinner - WOW!! I'm absolutely sure non of the christmas dinners are going to beat this amazing food experience. Every bite was an explosion of exciting flavors and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely come back to GIN soon.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at Gin! The decor is simple but very warm and intimate. The season menu was delicious, especially the fish and poached egg; all dishes are very fine and include a balanced mix of savours; only the desert was not fully convincing. The service is really excellent and the chef comes to present every dish. But the most special part is the wine pairing, with great choice of wines and explanations by the sommelier.
