10/10We went to the restaurant because it’s part of the slow food movement. Sitting outside at Sunset was spectacular. The food was interesting and delicious. The people were lovely. Definitely a place to visit for dinner. Enjoy.

10/10+1Wonderful place. The food is very unique and the chef uses spices that make the food taste exquisite. We had the vegetable flan and the mullet fish appetizer which were really nice. I had the lamb and couscous with almonds and dates which was very good. My daughter had the veal with potato which was exceptional. The price was very reasonable for two appetizers, entrees, wine and dessert at 88 Euro. Would not hesitate to come back.

10/10We were in Agrigento for our 20th wedding anniversary. We hadn't planned to have a special meal as our trip was special anyway. The food and the wine and the service were amazing. We chose from the more Italian part of the menu but there were delicious elements that really made the food stand out with hints of spices that complemented everything. We shared the starter, I don't usually eat mushrooms because most people cook them badly but the mushroom risotto was so delicious I could have eaten it twice. I had the veal cheek and my husband had the salt cod for mains. They were superb. For the sweet we shared the orange cheesecake. It was perfect. This is the sort of meal we would have had in a posh restaurant at home for a celebration. After the meal the gentlemen told us a little about the restaurant and how it is a social enterprise. I really loved it and I cannot recommend it too highly.

8.5/10Great atmosphere, good service and fine food. The starters (onion quiche with peanut sauce and eggplant flan with blueberry sauce) were really original and good, the main courses (fish balls and couscous of lamb) were good but not exceptional. Great choice of local wines. Definitely recommended!

9.5/10Small restaurant in Agrigento city centre. We shared a caponata antipasto - FANTASTIC!! And then we had a lamb cous cous and a fish cous cous, both of them delicious. The service was great, the host suggested us a very nice wine to accompany our dishes and at the end of the meal we also met the chef. This restaurant with its innovative cuisine, a fusion between Senegalese and Sicilian cuisine is a little gem is Agrigento.

10/10Wonderful, unique african-sicilian food, excellent wine. Very helpful and friendly waiters, friendly owner. We loved the couscus starter with kiwi and seafood, pumpkin soup. The marinated grilled octopus makes the chef a genious. Would be glad to eat there again.

8/10A lovely evening spoiled by the kitchens inability to get my meal out. My husband was done eating and I waited another 20 minutes. Seemed like a problem with my order not the entire restaurant. Not really apologetic though they knew it was a mess.

10/10We felt very welcome and the waiter (propably the owner) was a real gentleman and told us about the food with great interest and passion. We really tasted the love and happiness in the food. The quality and locality of ingredience plays a key role.

10/10A fantastic and unexpected meal. Great melding of Sicilian and North African flavors. Reminds one that Sicily has long been crossroads of Mediterranean cultures. Also great to have a meal without pasta after a week.

10/10We had a wonderful meal at Ginger. Some tourists, some locals, nice atmosphere (it was a special night with candlelight, but I’m sure it’s always good. Very friendly and helpful host. Dinner was fabulous! Artichoke creation and vegetable “meatballs” for starters, chicken curry and cod “sopo” (or “supu”?) for mains, dessert, local wines...everything was delicious. Good sized servings (not too much for a change). Great value for a very reasonable price.
