Food without taste. Even with 50% discount it was very disappointing. Cream fish soup tasted like powder soup with 1 old cold shrimp cutter into 4 pieces. Octopus salad without any spices, completely without any taste, except the portion was big.

Probably the best restaurant I have been to in Portugal so far. An interesting and innovative menu with an Italian flavour with gentle Portuguese touches. All the staff spoke good English. The prices are moderate and there are 3 rooms and an outside terrace to choose from.

Fantastic service, great food and wine was superb. Definitely value for money for us 4 Australians. Had a beautiful evening sitting in the upstairs area.

Lovely meal, traditional Portuguese food and pasta dishes available. Friendly staff. Two mains and a bottle of very nice wine was 50 euros.

A lovely respite. We were looking for a quiet atmosphere with a menu that varied from the usual fare. We found it at Ginjal. Mussels, shrimp/courgette pasta and swordfish pasta were all excellent. The servers were gentle and professional, and the is only a slight distance from the city center. Highly recommend.

The lady who served us had good knowledge about the wine and spoke perfectly french an english.

I ordered one type of sauce (Arrabiata) but got another type. Different than the usual Arrabiata. The other person ordered a shrimp sauce and got the same sauce as me with a non clean shrimp.

We happen to find this restaurant on trip advisor. We absolutely loved it. Very cozy atmosphere with an attentive staff. The food was delicious. I will definitely return here to try other dishes the next time I come to Portugal.

Service: they did not inform us that the requested wine was sold out! They served us another cheaper wine with the comment at the end: This one is much bettet! They did not inform us that they serve normal potatoes inserat of frites this evening!

Bad experience, after the first plates we waited for ever for the seconds and then we received only 3 plates the fourth plate was completely forgotten. The pasta with salmon and the Penne all arrabbiata where cold like from the day before. We asked to pay and they mixed everything so we end un paying for someone else table. They don't even apologized. And just as if it was not enough, one hour after we arrived at the hotel my sister was not feeling good and she vomit the pasta. Maybe we where unlucky but I really not recommend this restaurant. Ah and they have a hole in the sealing of the second floor.

Nice small restaurant. The service was good, the food was good too. Typical portuguese cuisine.
