As always basically everything was okay. Our reserved table was ready for us and we were quickly given the menu. It was different from the last time we were here and was as varied as before. We had a delicious starter and as main we both decided on the lamb. As the main came on its own we did order some vegetables on the side. For dessert as usual we had the tiramisu. All the food was wonderful and the wine completed it. Service was very friendly and attentive.

The wine and the T-bone we ordered were fantastic. The beef was well-cooked and very juicy. Together with the wine, it was very beautiful. Really enjoyed our time!

Very welcoming staff. Nice atmosphere/ambience. Menu according to what is at the market on the day. Lots of veggie options to choose from. Excellent wines . Very attentive service.

Perfect Italian place centrally located ! Service impeccable, chef and waiter lovely, both of them explains in detail recipes and wines, they love their menu and you can feel it. Atmosphere is super cozy we felt at home in a second. Good job !

We went to this delightful little restaurant for NYE 2023 as a party of four. We could not be happier with the food, the staff and the ambiance. Georgia (the owner & expediter) prepared an eight-course meal that was truly out of this world. It included lobster, wild boar, octopus, and more...all with personal Italian recipes. Thanks also to Lara the restaurant manger for making the night so enjoyable. This place is relatively new. My advise is go now before getting a reservation will take a month. Once more people find it...it will take off.

This is a small and delightful Italian restaurant located close to central Amsterdam. It's not cheap but not overly priced when considering the service and exceptional quality of the freshly cooked food. The menu changes daily based on the availability of fresh, local seasonal produce. The owner is a lovely young lady who has great pride in her food and establishment. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and had a lovely time and experience. Thank you everyone at Gio Cucina Italiana, you deserve to succeed. Kevin and Wendy 18/11/2022.

For me it was like an alchemical experience and travel in time. It’s refreshing to be in a restaurant where people really know what they are doing. The Sommelier is the best I have ever come across with. This is the must go to place in Amsterdam!

Put this restaurant on your bucket list when you’re in Amsterdam. The food was excellent. The menu changes daily. The chef/owner checked on us frequently to make sure everything was just right. I would highly recommend this gem.

Despite being short on staff on the floor and in the kitchen, the chef and waitress were exceptional. Everyone was so kind and attentive despite them being short handed. The food was also delicious.
