It was really great to have lunch.
If you dtay near Place du Capitole, I recommend that you should go eat.
Specifically, their selections of dessert I loved.

La Gourmandine was very welcoming and had a great atmosphere. The staff were friendly, supremely attentive and very tolerant of my average French. The food was quick to be delivered and well presented. Cocktails were tasty. Only two beers to choose from sadly but the Grimbergen was tasty. My girlfriend was delighted by her menu choices of a prawn entrée and a scallop main. I tried Foie Gras for the first time and had a sirloin main. The Foie Gras was mild flavoured and well complimented. The sirloin was OK, perhaps not a great cut of meat but I will put this down to my bad choice. This wouldn't prevent me going back or recommending to a friend and I will visit again one day.

Excellent French restraurant - a nice balance between tradition and innovation! My wife and I chose this place relying on TripAdvisors and Google+ feedbacks. We booked a table and were then welcomed by a couple of very kind waiters. We had two menus - starter/main/dessert - and they were just great. I had Trilogie de Canard, Roti d'Onglet de Veau, and Le Choco-caramel; my wife had Tartare de Boeuf, Pot-au-feu de Canard (probably the best choice), and tarte au citron (the restaurant specialty). I also recommend the digestifs produced by Distillerie Laurent Cazottes - light and delicious!
I'd warmly recommend this place!

We enjoyed excellent service and choice of menu. The wine choice was also excellent, and served impeccably.
Very knowledgeable with wine choices.
The home smoked salmon was the stand out. My friends had the slow cooked lamb which was cooked to perfection but slightly lacking in flavour.
All in all a very nice dining experience

I enjoyed a fine farewell lunch at La Gourmandine on my last day in France. Everything was super, from the welcome to the aperitif, food and wine. The personnel were friendly and efficient, and my meal was outstanding – ravioli of prawns over a tasty bed of pureed peas, pork belly with a deep, satisfying sauce plus veggies, and the cafe gourmand, consisting of a good espresso with four mini-desserts. I would go back anytime.

We had a 7-30 reservation so we're almost the first dinners. The staff were very welcoming and we were asked if we would like to sit inside or outside. We chose outside and had a very good relaxed meal the staff being very attentive.
