One of the best authentic Italian restaurants without any doubt. The are no mainstream dishes like pizza, the card is rather limited by the authenticity and quality very much present. The atmosphère et really cosy and the staff is very welcoming !

This restaurant was a great find ! It feeled like we were eating in Italy ! Food was delicious and the owner very attentive and giving us all the explanations on food and wine. Must go and we will definitely go again !

I was in the restaurant yesterday evening and I tried the 3-course surprise menu. Everything was very good and tasty, with excellent fresh and seasonal ingredients. Great atmosphere, great italian wines and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely be back.

Service was lovely. The food was nice but mostly not that special, especially for the very high price. There was a lot of time between courses, we waited 45-60 minutes at one point for the next course. Meat was a bit chewy, vegetables (all 2 pieces) a little undercooked. Fresh bread with olive oil for 10€.

Food of the surprise menu was very simple. A simple asperges omelet, an easy pasta and a tiramisu which was not cold enough. My husband had meat as extra dish, which was I tasty. Felt not right for the price paid. I had expected more based on the reviews by other people

The surprise menu with wines was really excellent. This is a wonderful little restaurant. The staff really know their ingredients and serve up a real grand tour of fine food!

Great location, cozy atmosphere and extremely welcoming personell. Needless to say that the food was marvelous. Tender fish appetizer and the tastiest Bolognese with truffle I ever tried. Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants in NL.

Hard to put into words how amazing a meal we had here. My wife and I have eaten at Michelin starred restaurants all over the world and this food is on par with some of the best. Every dish was spectacular, but the tomato salad and their play on a Parmigiana were out of this world. Add in incredible service and a beautiful atmosphere and you have the makings of a truly wonderful experience. What more can I say? Go, go now, go often - we sure will.

Fabulous, delicious food and great service. Our daughter is a picky eater and the chef was trying to accomodate her wishes as much as possible. I picked the restuarant based on the reviews on The Fork and they were not exagerated.

We came across this restaurant by chance while cycling past. Decided to try it for our anniversary dinner. Great food, lovely atmosphere and service was also above standard. Authentic Italian restaurant in a little back street of Scheveningen... Great find!

What a treat. Our family had a wonderful evening. Giorgio is a great cook and Francesco a fantastic host. We really felt special guests in a night of great food and fantastic wines. We are certain to return next time in Scheveningen

Really nice restaurant with a very lovely, charming and nice staff. Food was so delicious I wanted to lick my plate and the price is really fair as well (we had the 3 course surprise menu) 100/10 would recommend it to anyone!!!

This was our first outing after the covid confinement and we wanted something really special. We hit the jackpot with this Very nice really Italian restaurant, lovely atmosphere with excellent service and amazing food.

The main courses took very long to arrive and the portions are really small. The restaurant itself is very nice and cosy. The owner is extremely friendly and very warm and welcoming. The waiters too are polite and attentive. I would love to go back!

We have been to the restaurant several times and always really enjoyed our meals there. We invited friends to join us there last Saturday and unfortunately, our visit didn't turn out as expected. It took over an hour for us to receive our first course...no apologies for the delay...no offer of some bread to nibble on... Two of our party had the risotto for the main course...usually a very nice dish here...but it was overcooked on this occasion. Overall, we felt disappointed, especially as we had highly recommended the restaurant to our friends. Hopefully, these were once-off issues. We hope to have a better experience on our next visit.

Excellent quality of food, great wines, friendly and knowledgable service. Limited selection of wines by the glass on the card, but the sommelier explained he has swveral bottles open and offered a really nice italian red to pair with our main dish. Also the waiter gave excellent explanation and advice on the dishes. Italian food, Italian hospitality!

I had asked for a table by the window. Instead of being placed in the main restaurant (downstairs), they arranged a table on the first floor. Which is like an apartment room. It's not a restaurant, has no ambiente, no music. In order to reach it you'll have to walk through the kitchen, pass parts of the storage and rumble... the toilet is clean, but is of an apartment, with shower, washing machine. The owner when being told that we were unhappy with simply defensive, as we were difficult. But, as a matter of fact, I had booked a table in a restaurant and was placed with my friends in a "private" room. The serveur was next to useless. Was not serving ladies first, was serving only some people with drinks, not everybody. Was not paying attention. He obviously tried, but clearly had no education in serving people. All in all, very disappoiting. The chef just tries to squeeze out more money by selling a table in an upstairs sort of living room. Not correct!

Dear quests i do understand the inconvenience of not receiving the table requested, which is usually on very high demand especially in the weekend, but you should also consider that your reservation was done on Friday for the next day and we could not offer this option considering the restaurant almost fully booked. In order not to decline your reservation we organized for you a nice table in our privé section of the restaurant, which is usually very appreciated by our quests as a exclusive location and service. During and after the service we do remember compliments coming from your table regarding the food and wine experienced that evening. You even left a generous tip for the service. We are slightly confused due to the discrepancy between your feedback in the restaurant and this very negative review. We believe that with a smile and a buon caffé, everything can be resolved. This is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is colorful, delicious, healthy portions and so creative. Each meal looks like a garden. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. Great wine list too.

That's why I'm working so hard.. in order to have such a wonderful diner like this. Everything is perfect, the food is not only well presented but also absolutely delicious! The owner really knows what he is doing. Big respect!
