Chateaubriand not very caramelised, had to ask for a hot plate to cook it off, lasted 5 mins. Packet sauces as confirmed by waiter, bloody awful, he said they were reconstitued dry sauces Frozen chips, yuck Not a 5 star experience, will never go back, even after explaining why we didn't eat, no apologies

The food was beautifully plated and very tasty. The servers were attentive and so patient and helpful with us trying to order in Spanish. A wonderful introduction to Tenerife!

The dishes where delicious however one starter was missing the romesco sauce, and the incorrect sauce was served with the chateaubriand. However due to the long wait for the food we didn't want to wait for these items to be corrected. We were overcharged for a coffee being charged for a cocktail instead. The waitress was pleasant

I visited this restaurant for my birthday while staying at the hotel and, unfortunately, it was a letdown. I was really looking forward to a special meal, but the service and attention to detail left much to be desired. I ordered a steak and when asked how I would like it cooked, it came out undercooked. After sending it back the first time, I hoped the issue would be corrected, but the second attempt still wasn’t right. By then, my appetite and excitement for the meal had diminished. While our waitress was polite, and not at fault I ended up leaving hungry.

What can I say? This restaurant is so welcoming and is the most accomodating I've seen with our 7 year old daughter who is a difficult eater. The attention to detail is spot on and Juan and his team provide first class service with wonderful personality. The food? Well that is a fabulous offering which is cooked to perfection whether that be the Entrecote (so tender!), Sea Bass or the Lamb.

We have previously visited La Laja and the standards are still very high. Our meal for four was excellent. All good sized portions and excellent quality., The turbot, sea bass and sirloin were all fabulous. Wine was good value and excellent. The service, as always, was brilliant! We will definitely return.

Excellent meal at La Laja. Appetizer was delicious and unexpected. The scallops were exceptional and the sea bass and Tuna steak cooked to perfection. Ambience great and staff attentive and very friendly. We will return next year!

This is the third time we have visited La Laja and it was just as good as previous occasions. All of our food was excellent. The staff were fabulous and very friendly. Definitely recommend and will return.

Very royal place to dine. Cosy and relaxing. The service was very nice. Thank you Juan Jose. We had as a main course seabass and steak. The seabass was very good…the steak was Ok…..not the best I have had……. We had nice local wine…… I like this place.

Delightful knowledgeable staff , excellent food however lacked atmosphere. Only 3 other tables - one with children playing a noisy electronic game. Not impressed ! If men have to wear long trousers .. these games should not be permitted.

This restaurant was by far my favourite of all the places that we have eaten in Adeje the food was fantastic the staff were friendly and helpful and the setting was beautiful was a very enjoyable evening for my partner and I the only pitiful was my partner when booking had not read properly that gentlemen had to wear long trousers so he had to go back to our hotel and change but it was well worth it
