10/10The restaurant was fairly quiet as it was a Sunday evening. We already knew it was a fixed price set menu which was all explained to us on arrival. The antipasti kept on coming and was almost a meal in itself. Everything was delicious and fresh. The pasta was perfectly cooked and very tasty. The pork in the main course was amongst the best we have tasted, so soft and delicious. The dessert was small, but this was absolutely fine as we were already full. The staff were lovely and the bill was ridiculously low for such high quality and plentiful food. Highly recommended.

10/10What a great experience to come and enjoy such fabulous food in lovely surroundings. One of the reasons for our trip to puglia was to visit Gustavos. Its hard to single out one dish but perhaps the pork and potato secondi piatti was standout. The flavours were superb. Thank you to all the staff for welcoming us to Gustavos!

7/10The food was good but really rushed. It felt as if they just wanted us to go as they were going to get busy. we received the bill a minute after the desert glass was cleared and not even asked if we wanted coffee. A little disappointed.

7.5/10After seeing the TV series, remarkable restaurants of the world on Channel 4 in the UK, we decided that we must book a table here while we were in Puglia. We were shown to our table by a very efficient and capable waitress who explained that there was no menu proceeded to tell us what would we have during with the evening. We were seated outside as was everyone else the restaurant was very busy and because of the weather there was no one inside. I don’t know if the husband or wife Team were not there that evening and there was only three staff to attend a full house outside with two very large parties. The food thoughout was good but not memorable. The one waiter seem to be only Training. I was very unsure what to do a waitress who initially was fantastic was quite attentive but was obviously stretched to a limit each course was brought to the table in quite a rush and was just placed there without any explanation as to what we were eating.The staff seemed to lose interest.

10/10The courtyard is beautiful and the setting is lovely and natural. The staff are super friendly and attentive, making sure you’re looked after. The food is incredible and even better that there is no menu, as it leaves you open to experience the local cuisine. Definitely would recommend and would happily go back multiple times!

6/10Service not sufficiently attentive. I had great expectations coming here from Stockholm after seeing tv program about how good the restaurant was. Fred and another Michelin star chef visited Gustavo Praised the owners and chefs to high heaven. So we came here to Galatone especially to dine at Gustavo. Waitress pleasant enough but not more. Food was tasty but no “wow” factor. Main pasta dish was only just warm and not enough sauce.

10/10We followed the recommendation on The best restaurants in Europe the episode on Puglia. That happen to be sooo smart! 5 delicious antipasti dishes. Kind of risotto as primi and the “must” secondi dish. Excellent primitivo wine. It was an experience to remember. Carmela the owner is a wonderful hostess. Highly highly recommended. And only 30 euro per person.

10/10Recently featured on UK television, it was recommended by presenters Dermot O'Leary and Fred Siriex. You'll be treated to a set meal (no menu) which, for our visit, included five starter dishes - all delicious - a pasta course (very tasty but too much!), a main course of roast pork and potatoes (also delicious and too much). Dessert was thankfully small but nevertheless a welcome sweet treat - a minimalist tiramisu. For Euros30 each, this was an exceptional meal in a beautiful setting with indoor and outdoor seating. Great value and a wonderful experience. Thank you Dermot, Fred and all the friendly team at Gustavo!

9.5/10Following the television programme Remarkable Meals in UK we booked whilst on holiday in Puglia. It was my favourite venue of the holiday for excellent value for money, delicious food and atmospheric location. Staff were a little standoffish we felt but could have been to do with the language ? We are not proficient Italian speakers I am sorry to admit. The dessert needed a little textural variation maybe sponge? of some fruit? as it was called tiramisu and was only flavoured cream in our samples.
