10/10Bon apetit! Was delicious, will be back. We enjoyed the gratinee Tarte flambé, the duck, the steak, the crepe Suzette, cocktails & red wines and all was fantastic, as was the service,

10/10Beautiful French food in a bistro setting with great service. Snails were delicious and steak perfectly cooked, served with a delicious jus and salad. The cheese soufflé was light and fluffy and packed with cheesy flavour, while the pork was perfectly cooked and served with a delicious sauce. Rounded off by shared crepes Suzette

9.5/10The food was beautiful. Very well presented. Host was delightful. Would recommend. Only problem was air conditioning wasn’t coping however it was a VERY hot day. Interstate and intrastate diners loved the food and host.

9.5/10As visitors to Brisbane we were looking for a good honest restaurant with great food - and that about sums up Haig Road bistro. We were lucky enough to get a table outside on a beautiful Brisbane night. The food was great. the service was excellent and the prices very reasonable.

8/10This was our second visit and unfortunately was not as good as the first, particularly the soufflé entree. The steak was undercooked for what was asked for. Limited choices on menu. If the food was outstanding, one would be prepared to pay top dollar. The minimum choice was a set menu of 2 courses for $68 which seems expensive for what it was. Not value for money. Would have preferred a la carte.

8/10A lovely little French restaurant in Brisbane. The onion soup took me back to a cold parisian winter night! The steak was wonderful. The creme brulee was only 5 millimetres thick, including the custard which was pretty poor. I also booked mentioning it was my birthday and had not one joyeux anniversaire uttered! I did notice another lady get a sparkler on her dessert but none for me! Maybe the mixed us up? Otherwise it was still a nice night!

10/10The Valentine’s dinner menu was really nice. Especially the coral trout main. Hopefully, it can stay on the regular menu.

5.5/10We arrived on the booked time. As it was Valentine's Day dinner only the prepared menu can be chosen. We waited about half an hour for the entrees and another one and half hours for the main food. They practically forgot to serve us. So we booked the table for 5:30pm but we got the main a bit after 7:30pm. Meanwhile several couple were waiting outside. The food was ok but way much overpriced.

9.5/10Haig Road Bistro is where we often go for special occasions. The food and service are always excellent. Only criticism is that the menu is a little light on vegetarian options.
