Such a friendly, relaxing and welcoming place! An excellent chef who prepares every dish fresh and from scratch - and a really wonderful lady serving the tables! Food quality is amazing, reminiscent and fitting even Grandma´s (absolute best) standards! Thank you, we will definitely come again!!! :-) :-)

A relaxed and friendly neighbourhood restaurant, with a surprisingly good leek and potato soup! Portions were generous, you won’t leave feeling hungry! Having already had schnitzel elsewhere, we tried the cauliflower and the Asian wok dishes which both hit the spot :) A nice place to spend some time after visiting the Beethoven museum.

Very secluded and a hidden gem not far from Beethoven's House (although he wasn't there when we checked). Highly recommend for the peace and quiet of the Vienna Woods alone,, but the food happened to be excellent as well. For example, the gigantic double beef burger with fries was almost enough for two hungry people. Even Beethoven would have found it notable!

Overall I like the restaurant except for I was charged on additional items that I didn’t order. But I was also not arguing about it because of the language barrier. Maybe I should’ve pointed out 😂 However, I thought that would foul the atmosphere. But the food is good. Coffee and soft drinks that they recommend is good too.

I visited Halbzeit, a cozy and rustic restaurant in Vienna, for a late lunch with a family. We were greeted by a friendly host who showed us to our table and gave us the menu. The menu featured a variety of Austrian dishes, such as schnitzel, goulash, and beef tartare, as well as some international options, such as scampi and burgers. The prices were reasonable and affordable, ranging from 10 to 20 euros for a main course. We ordered the schnitzel and the goulash as mains. The food arrived quickly. The schnitzel was crispy and tender, accompanied by potato salad and cranberry sauce. The goulash was rich and hearty, with tender chunks of beef and potatoes in a savory sauce. We enjoyed every bite and were very satisfied with our choices. The service was attentive and professional, and the host checked on us several times to ensure we were happy with our food and drinks. The portions were generous. We had a wonderful time at Halbzeit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty and authentic Austrian meal in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is one of the best restaurants in Vienna and deserves a high rating.

The place is lovely with a rustic ambiance and the food was very fresh and tasty. However, the service was not the best, as our yums were not deducted properly. Instead, we ended up paying 50€ instead.
