5/10Unfortunately been greeted by unfriendly waitress who told me not to book via The Fork after this booking and we will not get a service if booked via Fork. Very disappointing visit. Felt like a second class customer as I booked via The Fork. Won’t be going there anymore.

3.5/10We ordered Chicken karaage curry bowl. I had to leave the restaurant for 10 minutes. When I returned to the restaurant, my family was eating Chicken karaage without the curry bowl. They thought I made an incorrect order. I confirmed with the waitress that she made the mistake and not I. I was shocked that instead of giving us the correct dish I ordered, the restaurant gave us a bowl of rice with curry sauce with no chicken!

7/10We attened the restaurant as I had yum yums voucher which were going to erxpire soon. The food was reasonable, but unremarkable and the service was as expected. The yum yum voucher gave us an afforable lunch whch we enjoyed, although the price of a glass of wine was quite expensive. Nontheless, we had no issues with the quality of the food and service.

8/10Been visting harajuku gyoza in brisbane since 2014. Have always been a big fan but in recently years found that their prices have risen and quality fallen. When I came across the promotion, I thought I would give it one more try. The service atleast in CBD is authentic and of a very high standard. Some dishes (the eggplant tempura) remain of a good quality however I did find that the pork gyoza's are not as good as they used to be. Prices are also a lot higher than before. Eg pork belly kakuni used to be $13 today it is $16. When you consider that a lot of the dishes prices have risen steeply, the overall cost of a meal rises in equal proportion. That said, still a great joint and recommend for special events and large group gatherings.

9/10The gyozas we had (grilled duck and takoyaki) were very good - however, the chicken katsu curry was a little soupy and the fukujinzuke wasn’t very fresh. However, the meal was very nice overall.

If you hadn't already guessed by the name - Harajuku Gyoza is OTT. Here at this wacky Japanese eatery in Brisbane's CBD, filled with kitch and cuteness, they're serving up premium gyoza (Japanese style dumplings). Sit up at the counter and watch the chefs labour with love over your gyoza before stuffing your face with those little bite-size rounds of goodness. Make sure you save room for the dessert gyoza - a tiny banana and Nutella crepe that is fried and served with ice cream. For the full experience make sure you try some of the many Japanese beers that are on offer. If you're after a fun, crazy, memorable night then this is the place.
Best dish: gyoza, gyoza and more gyoza.
