No where near enough staff, the poor waitress was rushed off her feet, and obviously not enough staff in the kitchen either as it took over an hour to get our food for a table of 5.

As usual food & service were excellent and staff were exceptional. We had a table for 6 for Sunday lunch as family were visting from up North, ambience was not as good as ormal due t oa few other family groups with screaming babies and unruly children literally running around and into other guests without any parental intervention!

Didn’t have to wait too long for food , no problems with changing set meals such as changing chips for jacket potato, waitress was friendly, the only down side was air conditioning was a bit fierce but we were told we could change tables so on the whole an enjoyable meal experience,will definitely go back.

We go here at least twice a month. Tonight was a birthday celebration and unfortunately the food wasnt up to its usual standard. I have cajan chicken which was so over seasoned it just tasted like salt. Baked potato was dry like it had been on the go all day. We asked for med rare on steaks and out of 5 only one was correct. We didnt complain at the time as it would have ruined our sons birthday celebrations. Service was 10/10 as always.

The restaurant was lovely , the food was great and the service was very good. The only complaint we had was the table we were seated at was in front of a window and it was very cold. As there were no other tables available we couldn’t move

This was our first time back since COVID. Liked the menu. The vegan chilli was great. The service was really good and friendly and the Rioja was good albeit a little warm. We will return!

Great celebration meal for our daughters GCSEs results. Food was amazing.. The lady that served us 4 was super busy but still great and so lovely and uplifting. In our eyes the best Havester in Essex.

Salmon was over cooked mash was tasteless overall not satisfied with my meal although friends meal was ok, table very sticky, would not visit again
