The staff work flat out and are helpful. The salad bar is good. HOWEVER the main meals need to improve. I had scampi which was fine, BUT my meal was left under the heater for far too long and as a result the peas were like bullets and they weren’t cooked properly in the first place. Also the tartare sauce was really hot and splitting. My husband had the gammon and again the peas were inedible and the chips weren’t much better.

Slow service, not staff fault, didn’t seem enough staff/ cross over help eg Bar staff could have got drinks ready for waitress who appeared to be covering loads of tables. NO Red Devil sauce! No salmon on menu now

Staff very friendly and helpful.Disappointed with new menu , no salmon. Only fried fish options now. Also not very good veggie choices.Had to ask for Red Devil sauce top up as usual. A lot of the salad had been kept too cold and therefore had become ‘mushy’..

Served by Megan absolutely perfect, food come cold, returned our meals but they changed the fries etc but gave the same steaks back which were then over cooked.

Been there 2 weeks running first occasion Salad Bar insufficient !! Last visit even worse and mains not good!! Will not be going back unless garantee of vast improvements

On the hottest day of the year we arrived promptly for our booking and were immediately shown to a quiet table. All was good. Then it all started to go downhill. Due the gas having run out there were no draught beers of any type. We reluctantly ordered two bottles. Onto the food order. We scanned the menu and decided on the scampi and cod options. Ah, the fish fryer was out of order so no fish items were available. We considered our options and decided to call it a day, relocating to a nearby rival where all options of food and drink were readily available. It clearly wasn't Harvester's finest hour and this may have contributed to the sparse turnout at the site. Will we give it another go? Not likely in the near future.
