The food was either over cooked and couldn't get the fork in it my steak was under cooked. The puddings no ice cream on the menu and the pastry had no filling. Had to ask for cutlery to eat and service was so slow and it wasn't even because it was busy as it wasn't. That is why we gave up trying to complain that the food was terrible it took over 30 mins to clear the table which we had to ask for a the sweet menu. Nearly 3 hours just to get a main and pudding and the waitress telling us all about how much she had spent that day and how little my daughter was eating (29years old) when we asked for a box to take the little she had left . The judgemental look was not needed we paid for the food so why can't we take it home. We normally go here for all birthdays and get together as it's half way from all our houses will not be going back in a hurry unless they nake some big changes

Booked early, but on arrival seated at a tiny table with virtually no room to move. Was freezing cold the entire time. No cutlery on the table, had to get our own, as no one was in attendance. When the staff did show they were curtious and took our order and left the salad bowls, one of which had some hard baked on substance on the outside. The sald bar was fairly well stocked and relatively clean and tidy. Food arrived in reasonable time, but was quite basic, with no garnish, and looked very dissapointing. We ordered sundae desserts, but when they arrived they were presented in a bowl, with an apology, saying that there weren't any sundea dishes available! Sundaes are a main part of the dessert menu, but there's not enough clean dishes!? Just not good enough. On visiting the rest room, I didnt fair any better, with the loo roll holder so tight, it wouldnt release any paper without a two handed struggle. And to finish off, one of the staff hastily tossed her hand held tablet on to the counter behind me, as she rushed off, it fell on to my back and down the chair onto the floor, as she left, with no apology. I have always enjoyed a Harvester experience with my son when ever he visits me, but this visit with my partner has left me not just dissapointed but angry at the whole experience. I rarely comment on indifferent service, but for both my and I this was a very dissapointing experience. I don't wish to stero type, but the whole staff looked very young. I did not see the usual manager chap, who always made our visits very enjoyable. The staff that were on duty lacked the level of customer service that you expect from any eating establishment, but even more so from such a large organisation as The Harvester restaurant chain. Sadly I will not be returning to the restaurants in the near future and will share my experience with friends and family. A dreadful experience all round.

We arrived with 2 small children and were put on a table right in the middle. This wasn't a problem however the table was small with not much room for 4 people to dine on let alone space for the children to colour. We waited 30 minutes with 2 other tables being seated and served by another member of staff before our server had even come back to the table to order our drinks. We then waited a further 10 minutes for our refillable cups and bowls for the salad bar. Our server seemed to be a new member of staff and it was obvious she was doing things wrong. Whilst I refilling my drink she was approached by a colleague and told to go and apologise. This was done in front of paying customers and unprofessional. Another table near us waited at least 15 minutes before a different server had asked them were they still waiting to be served. She then said "I don't know what she is doing!" I again think this was very unprofessional. Whilst eating we weren't asked by our server if our meal was OK. In fact our server was no where to me seen. Another table had to ask the front of house for someone to take their drinks order. After we finished our food we waited a further 15 minutes before any plate was cleared. This consequently meant that the children missed their desert because we were due over at Bowlplex. Organisation was poor. No cutlery on the table, no serviettes or condiments were available until we asked . Very poor experience.

It was my 13 year old nephew's birthday and he loves Harvester so it was a treat for him, but today he was disappointed. There was little to no product at the salad bar which he lives, no bread rolls, just 1 slice of bread, less than half the options available, he had a few bits of sweetcorn. So we ordered starters instead, he ordered Halloumi fries which arrived burnt. We also waited a long time before our drinks order was taken, the two waiters were working extremely hard but seemed stressed. When our mains arrived nobody clears the starters plates which left our table over crowded. It was a shame as he was really looking forward to it and it didn't live up to expectation unfortunately.

The staff were absolutely amazing!! The manager was so helpful with my disabled mother also our waiter Josh was so helpful and polite the Ser we received today was impeccable. I would really appreciate if their good work ethic is recognised please David ingram

There was no booking in my name even though I had confirmation. They did find a table for us. The food salad bar was good but the main course 1 combo , 2 cod and chips witch was over cooked .
