Hi food was good service was ok but the dining room was cold...... we had a dirty knife on the floor where we sat so not sure if the room had been cleaned properly, hover had not made it into the area we sat in maybe. On the whole good i was not put off enjoying my lunch

We were shown to our seat within minutes of entering and given our Menus x the waitress was friendly and attentive and after a short wait the food was hot and tasty.

The steak was chewy. Also a dip was missed off the order. The salad bar was nearly empty and didn’t look very appealing. The waitress was very friendly but busy.

Had a mixed grill steak very tough,upgraded the steak and was mostly grisly , the breaded mushrooms were watery, the gammon was really salty, had to wait at reception for at least 5 mins without being seen, not a good service at all

Food not up to usual standard slightly overcooked and waited ages between starters and main. I know it's busy because of half term and various offers but wasn't as good as usual. Also .. not clear which offer worked out best for u could do more to advise on this

Waited nearly an hour for food and when it arrived it was only barely warm. I personally don’t like the staff dishing out the salad and wish they would scrap this.

Very nice restaurant most of the food was lovely but my steak was very tough unfortunately but the service was excellent and gave me a reduction which I didn’t expect.

The service was very polite and very welcoming but the food how ever was just cold. Cold meat, cold chips, cold vegetables. Only 2 adults and 2 children aswell so wasnt as if it was a big order.

Was seated very fast , friendly staff, was sat by a door that was a little cold . Food came and was hot and tasty except for the onion rings , they were disappointing as very greasy and over cooked . Rest of meal was really good

Really well managed, attentive and friendly staff who made you feel very welcome! COVID procedures clear and enforced in terms of attending the salad bar (which I personally would like to see remain as it feels far more hygienic than having everyone clambering over the buffet). Food menu wasn’t very varied but everything was enjoyable. Would happily revisit (:

I have been a regular customer to the harvester BUT will never go back after this evening. Alternative food was used with no explanation food not correct to the menu description some of my food was cold my wife’s meal was burnt just not good and very dissatisfied

After visiting the Harvester today I was disappointed with the lack of food available. No cod for fish and chips and then no scampi which limited me. I asked a question about the salmon fish she’s but the waitress didn’t know and she didn’t attempt to find out for me. I asked for a lime and mint soda, it came with cucumber in? I asked for it to be changed as I do not like cucumber, unfortunately they just took the cucumber out. So all in all a very disappointing visit.

So yesterday my mum took me out as a treat and as I was vegan there was little options to choose other than one or two items. So I went for the bean burger. It was absolutely horrific ! I can’t believe they actually serve this. I asked the staff what it was like and they said they had many many orders. Well I don’t doubt that only I’m sure they would not order it again having tasted it. I can’t understand how with so much plant food there is out there but they still trying to serve this as a meal. Inevitably to say I did not eat this. Also we must’ve have been interrupted about 6 times. We was having a sensitive discussion and didn’t want to be kept asking if all was okay. Anyway cut a long story short we won’t be going again as there is little vegan options, I thought considering we had it a year long lockdown that there would be more varied choice for vegan and yet I can see this is not happened. We won’t be eating there again.
